Hi, my name is Tom. I am originally from Colorado where I went to high school. I left here for sunny Arizona where I went to college for 4 years and graduated with a B.S. degree in Software Engineering. Since the economy went :( I had to expand my job search, which led me back to Colorado where I just started my new job and am loving it so far.

For hobbies I like to play video games, watch movies, read random information on wikipedia, watch Jeopardy, and so on. I used to have a job in the video gaming industry so I enjoy them, but I only play for an hour or two a day, not crazy insane hours.

Seeing as I am from Colorado, I also enjoy the outdoors and doing stuff in this beautiful state. I love to go fishing on a lazy afternoon. I also like hiking, camping, and just exploring around. In the winter I love to go skiing, something I desperately missed while in Arizona.

I am currently working as a Technology Project Leader for a state educational organization here in Colorado on a two-year contract. I work with some of the small school districts in the area, providing technology equipment and support to special education teachers. I love technology and I like working in the educational industry, so I am really enjoying my job.

After my contract is up, I will probably get another position in technology somewhere.

Yikes, I am way too modest to answer this one. I am pretty good with any and all technology. I'm the guy in the family all the relatives come to for troubleshooting their computers. I enjoy the challenge though, so I can't complain. I like to think I am good at intelligent conversation and debating, something I learned from my mom. I like conversing with other people about deep or meaningful topics, or just random stuff I find interesting. I am a bit shy though, so don't expect that right off the bat.

I also like to think that I am a good friend to anybody. I don't like conflict and I hate hurting people's feelings, so I try to get along with everybody. I don't ever lose my temper and try to stay calm even through the most stressful situations. Life is too short to be worrying all the time.

Also I guess I am pretty good at video games, since I have played them my whole life. I know, it is a very useful life skill to have. ;)

I don't know what to put for this one, since I don't go around asking people. I suppose the standard answer is my eyes, but I think it is probably my hair. Especially if it hasn't been cut in a while and is approaching afro status.

Books: 1984, Fahrenheit 451, The Wheel of Time series, Harry Potter, Tolkien, Dune and a lot more that I can't think of right now.

Movies: Lost in Translation, The Big Lebowski, Into the Wild, The Dark Knight, Grandma's Boy, LOTR, The Matrix, No Country For Old Men, and I could keep going forever.

Music: I know everybody on here says they listen to everything, but do they listen to video game soundtracks? Because I do, on occasion. Seriously though, I listen to every genre of music. Certain songs just catch my ear, and they could be any artist. Some I like: The Shins, Nightwish, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, Blur, Metallica, The Beatles, The Lonely Island, etc.

Food: I am about 1/2 Italian, and I grew up on my Italian family's home cooking, so I have to go with Italian. I also have a soft spot for Mexican food. I love chocolate and sweet things too. Yeah, I'm not too picky. Oh and, anything my mom makes :)

A lot of stuff, I am a thinker, and I like to comtemplate the big questions in life. I am always curious and looking to expand my knowledge. As for more serious things, I think on them but don't like to dwell or worry about them. Things happen, and I just go with the flow.

I live in a very small town, so usually nothing much. Maybe driving to a movie or going out to eat now and then. Usually just relaxing at home from a long work week.

I've never had a serious relationship with anybody before. I've been on some casual and fun dates, but never beyond that.

I can be a little shy at first but I promise I am nice and talkative once I get to know you better.
