My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My self-summary. How does one summarize themselves?

Well we can start with prevalent matters. I'm a home owner, a recently enrolled again student, an IT professional, a musician, a video game enthusiast; I am many things, as we all are!

For those muts like me, I am of Italian, Irish and Welsh descent! The first name may give away which part is most prevalent in how I classify myself (Tony) :)

If you're into Myers-Briggs (as I am) I am an INTP personality type. Accurate on most accounts, I am without a doubt a thinker. I consider it my greatest strength and weakness. We'll talk about that later though.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Workin for the man every night and day!

I work in IT for Winchester Ammo. Not my favorite place to work but the company takes care of its employees. They are good about that, despite making something inherently destructive (I may have some opinions on the subject but I accept most people's views on most issues). We can talk about that when we meet.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Conversing with people. I'll woo you before you know it! But seriously, I have a very analytical mind and I'm a people pleaser. I like people being happy so I try to achieve providing some means of happiness to those I care about. So being analytical, I'm a natural problem solver. I also think I have a good ear for music (I used to play 8 instruments!)

Ok, I should stop there before I start sounding full of myself, lol. Being a person inside his own head, I know my strengths and weaknesses.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes and my buzzed/balding head. One of the two! Possibly both.

I got my dad's hairline and though I miss the option of having hair, I like my buzzed head. SUPER easy to maintain and summer heat is a little less severe.

After that, I think people say I am well spoken. I was raised the grandson of a writer, and he did not allow me to make errors when speaking. I am actually grateful for this.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I don't read much. Mostly news articles on the latest in climate change and technology. I think this will be changing soon, as I am finding myself more interested in reading and the written word (blame my comms/lit Prof for that)

Movies: Far too many to list, but the all time favorite is Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas. I love the idea of the pursuit of what one thinks they need only to find what they truly need right there all along.

I am a bit of a romantic, go figure.

Shows: I watch things on Netflix these days, as well as HuluPlus. Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, True Blood, Game of Thrones, Being Human, Dexter, Heroes, Psych, Parks and Recreation, The Office... Many shows, all of which I enjoyed thoroughly.

Music: I could list bands for days but to keep things short, my tastes are eclectic and mainstream at the same time.

Food: Italian. Love it! But I will try almost anything. I say almost because I am a realist. There are some foods that should not be.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Truly?

Water
Food
Shelter
Security
Recreation
Pursuit of knowledge

To not be so serious, I could not live without the internet. It provides so much! I also feel that I could not live without music. I seriously need it, as I think many of us do. I couldn't live without comedy either. It's important to laugh and have a sense of humor about things.

Also rum and/or whiskey. Rum if I'm mixing, whiskey if it's straight.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Things to improve upon, both in myself and the house I recently purchased. It was my grandparents and after growing up in it, I decided to buy it when they moved into a retirement community.

Also, I spending a lot of time just thinking in general. I analyze (possibly over-analyze) everything. It's just the way my brain is wired. As of late, most of my thoughts are on things I perceive I need to do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Normally at home. Work keeps me busy so my downtime is spent relaxing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Like most people, I've been hurt in the past and I tend to internalize my feelings as a result. Give me patience and I'll give you the same.
