I am pretty much an average guy. Now that might not sound real exciting but its the truth and I'm not here to weave a contrived image of myself.

I can be old fashioned. I open doors for the elderly, disabled, women with small children or women in general. I do this because thats what you should do. Sadly society has grown more and more coarse.

Many times I can get lost in thought. I'm not ignoring you and just need a knock on the head. Though if your talking to me I do listen and I'm good at it.

I have held down a job for 20 years at the same place and almost have my house paid for. Never been in trouble with the law. Which sort of makes me the nice guy. So all I should have left are the good girls and would be corruptors. I like it.

I don't go to bars and don't do a lot of travel. Now I'm never going to be a bar scene guy thats just me. However as far as travel or going out for activities I'm open to that. I don't tend to do it because I have no one to really go with.

I enjoy conversations and can converse on a wide array of topics. I can be opinionated and will defend my opinion. However I can admit when I'm wrong and be persuaded. Now what I don't respond well to is people that think I'm awful becasue they disagree with me on something. I can agree to disagree why can't you?

Now for the bad part. I'm something of a geek. Deal with it ladies. If me being a geek is too embarassing there is always the option of telling your friends I'm out drunk shooting craps in the ally behind the strip joint. I am not Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. I'm not going to argue for a Darth Vader lamp in the living room or a Dungeons and Dragons bedspread.

I don't have children but I'm not afraid of them. I can get along just fine with kids and realize that they are going to be important in your life. I'm sort of lost when it comes to a baby though so fair warning.

Listening and being there.
Painting models.
Being creative.

I suppose that I'm short and have thick hair, and that there is more salt in the pepper lately. No one has really set down and discussed this with me so I'm not really sure what to say that isn't a wild guess.

For books I generally read science fiction , fantasy or horror with some science, history thrown in. I will watch most movies but my favorites are along the same line as the books.

I have not attended the theater but I would be interested in it with the right company.

My musical taste are pretty eclectic.

I like a lot a lot of different foods and am willing to try things. I can't do vegan though. I don't understand why half of vegan dishes are trying to taste like all the things they refuse to eat.

I can't think of things that i just can't do without. Who knows what curves life is going to throw you.

I spend a lot of time thinking about whats going on in the world. I also find myself thinking about the nature of God. I often think about why people believe the way they do and how opinions are formed and how society opperates. I guess that sounds pretty deep. Sometimes people think I am aloof because I don't greet them in the hall at work. Usually I'm lost in thought.

I think about other lighter subjects. Usually involving games I play with my friends or story elements from books and movies.

I'm hanging out with friends for a movie or a game or just to talk. Sometimes I'm at home just watching netflicks or dvd's while painting which I find soothing.

Admitting private things to people in person or in correspondence is one thing. Plastering it on the internet is not wise in my opinion. So in this forum I will admit nothing.
