In the past couple of years I have worked two summers in Alaska camping all over the place and working in the rain and wind for Americorps.
Since then I have seen gross things at a large poultry farm in Washington, helped turn a ridiculous amount of organic grapes into a ridiculous amount of wine in California, worked at a tiny music festival on an island in the Puget Sound, helped construct a 30 foot tall effigy of an Indian demon out of cardboard (which we then burned at a festival, complete with fireworks!), driven llamas around in a van, hitchhiked up California, been kicked out of Canada, and all sorts of other adventures in between.
I've worked on many organic farms, and farming and working outside are things that are very appealing to me. I'm hoping someday to have a little bit of land, enough for my family and a great assortment of animals.
