I am Fantastic, Sarcastic, and I do dishes!.

My Self-Summary

I am simply looking to meet new and interesting people. I'm not against getting to know someone and being in a relationship, but it's not my goal in life. That being said, I always seem to get into the best relationships when I'm not looking for one. So here I am, not looking, but keeping an open mind (and e-mail box) to anyone who finds me marginally intriguing.

What I’m doing with my life

Working the daily grind to pay my bills and dreaming of a day when I decide to play the lotto so I can actually complain about not winning and make sense when I say it.

I’m really good at

Making sure no one knows what I'm talking about. Not intentionally. But I tend to ramble, and mumble. Not a good combination. But if you listen really closely, you might find me making a bit of sense.

The first things people usually notice about me

Um........I never really ask anyone that. So if I had to guess, I would say my gauged ears. Or red hair. Or eyes. Or obliviousness to everything around me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Anything by Stephen Hunter and Vince Flynn. I'm a techno-thriller junkie. I can admit that I've read all of the Harry Potter books at least twice without being embarrassed. The internet is good for hiding shame.

Movies: I love horror movies, but have been disappointed by them lately. I seem to find the better ones from overseas. Korean, Japanese, and Chinese ones which we in the US steal and crap all over. But I love all types of movies. Even an occasional chick flick. Rambo was a chick flick, right?

I couldn't live life without music. I recently made the most phenomenal 80's new wave CD in the history of 80's new wave CD's. Tool is my favorite band ever, and they really need to start putting out music more than once every 5 frickin' years! Other than that, I am very open to new types of music.

Food: Yes please. Just no seafood for me. Or fresh water for that matter. I wish I liked sushi just so I could be one of those cool people who eat sushi. But then again, I don't really care about being one of those cool people. Assholes.

The six things I could never do without

1. Websites which ask me to list my favorite things
2. Sarcasm (see above)
3. Laughter (even if I'm the only one laughing)
4. My iPhone
5. My intrinsic appreciation of humanity and all that we have to offer each other
6. Cheez-its

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I can do to improve my lot in life.
What I can do to help others improve their lot in life.
Wondering what a lot is.
Wondering why I'm wondering what a lot is when I know damn well what a lot is.
Wondering why I think I'm so funny.

On a typical Friday night I am

Ok, ready for this? Sitting at home, enjoying the company of my good friend/roommate, watching TV, and thinking of some way to improve my already fantastic guacamole. It doesn't get any more exciting than that. THIS is why I'm on here. I need to get out once in a while!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have an extra vertebrae. It's really not that uncommon actually. But it's a funny story to tell. Ok, not so much a story as a fact.

You should message me if

You are looking for someone to laugh with and sometimes AT.
You want someone to have an intellectual albeit fun conversation with.
Can look past my faults and celebrate my good qualities.
