My self-summary
I am an enigmatic figure, often seen pulling out exact change and crushing ice. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled the world over the last 6 years. I'm moving to Portland the 1st of March to see my old friend (Sherry D) and to be close to my brother. I'm a student of human behavior. Sometimes I translate sarcasm for Cuban refugees, I explore cities and, I manage time efficiently. I embrace the random and love to watch the weather change. I can pilot bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, and I cook Thirty Minute Brownies in twenty minutes. I am an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and know six words that rhyme with "purple".
What I’m doing with my life
I am a traveler searching for purity. On weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami and kickball. On Wednesdays, after painting, I repair electrical appliances free of charge because I probably broke them. Everyday, I am happy and continue to travel the world until I find home.
I’m really good at
I am an abstract artist, a concrete analyst, and a ruthless bookie. I play bluegrass cello. My deft floral arrangements have earned me fame in local botany circles. I can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy and have made extraordinary four-course meals using only a Mouli and a toaster oven. I love to cook.
The first things people usually notice about me
People probably assume that I dress myself. I do. Furthermore, some might think that I've never gotten toothpaste on the mirror. However, I' m sure other people would think that I am right-handed and left-handed.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
1984. Animal Farm. On The Road by Jack Kerouac The Stories of Anton Chekhov, Anton Chekhov. Chuck Palahniuk. Middlemarch, George Eliot. Dante's Inferno, War and Peace ,Leo Tolstoy. Neuromancer by William Gibson. Don Quixote, The Little Prince, Fear and Loathing, A Clockwork Orange, the back of shampooand beer bottles, Steal This Book. Recipes and so on... Music for me remains eclectic.
The six things I could never do without
My mind, the stars, fresh air, human interaction, a camera, laughter
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Random. Life. Food. Whatever else is in my thoughts at the time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have played Hamlet in the shower, solved Calculus in my head, and panhandlers have gave me money. I balance, I weave, I dodge, I frolic, and my bills are all paid.
