I am athletic, funny, and find out the rest ;).
My Self-Summary
I'm a Digital Media Consultant in DC specializing in 3D animation
(yay I found a job in the recession!) I'm into
going out to bars or wherever,
video games
(yeah, I'm a
gamer),
swimming,
running,
art,
architecture, lots of things. I've
been told that I'm a pretty nice guy, but maybe you should find
that out for yourself.
I'm one of those guys where staying in to watch movies in pajamas
is as fun as going out. I'm really not picky as far as what's fun
to do. That's not to say I don't love to party, I definitely do,
but more often then not I like to provide the party ;)
I am also a big fan of the outdoors. I love
camping and
hiking. I seriously have camping gear
ready to go in my apartment at a moment's notice.
What I’m doing with my life
I just finished my Masters Degree in Architecture and right now I'm
working as a Digital Media Consultant for an architecture firm in
Alexandria. I'm hoping to find more clients in the near future
though.
I’m really good at
Well if I get a few drinks in me I can...wait...I don't want that
getting out!
Just kidding
Like I said, I just finished a
Masters Degree program in
Architecture so I guess I have some talent there. I'm a pretty good
artist and
athlete. I was
captain of my college
swim team. If you catch me in the
right mood you can get me to do my
impressions of
Kermit the Frog and a bunch
of other completely random characters, and I'm usually making some
witty response to something. I can
cook very well. I've seriously done an
entire Thanksgiving dinner on my own and have an entire folder full
of other fun recipes on hand.
On the more risque side of things I'm a Hall of Fame player in Beer
Pong. Oh, and I can kick your ass in
Super Mario Bros.
No really...don't make me do it...
The first things people usually notice about me
I dunno...I've never had to notice myself :-P
I guess it would be that I'm a pretty nice guy. People have also
commented on my smile. Also, I have swimmer shoulders that seem to
randomly hit people as I walk by.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I'm definitely a bit of a nerd so I'm into
Lord of the Rings and all
those books. I also like my fair share of
Stephen King and any random thing I
can find at
Borders. My library's huge so if it's on
the printed page I basically want to read it. In my joblessness
over the summer I've become seriously into self-education in all
kinds of digital media programs, so I have tons of books on that
topic too.
For movies...well...I have a huge movie collection and have a hard
time picking one so let's just go with
Star Wars,
Jaws,
anything by Quentin
Tarantino,
The Dark Knight, anything
involving
ninjas,
turtles, or a
combination thereof, and like I said; many others. Some nights I
just like hanging out and watching something.
Music?
Barenaked Ladies,
They Might Be
Giants,
Jonathan Coulton,
Dave Matthews, and
lots of classic rock. I've been getting into lots of Indie rock
recently thanks to DC 101. Also, for some reason I really can't get
Weezer's song, "I want you to" out of my head.
Food:
Pizza and
beer (I'm a beer
connoisseur)
The six things I could never do without
1. My glasses or contacts, if I have to survive I have to
see!
2. Something to
doodle on
3. Something to
doodle with
4. My
dog
5.
Cleveland
sports teams (Go Tribe!)
6. A good book or
Game Boy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I dunno...I kind of take it as it comes. Right now I'm trying to
think of something witty to put here...was that good?
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing from the week. Now that my degree is done I can remember
what a fun Friday night is. Message me with any fun ideas or events
going down!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I was going to say "you first" here, but in my quick typing I
misspelled "first" twice. Then I was going to put "spell check is
my friend", but made spell and check one word...it corrected me on
that too...
Oh...and I invented and taught a college course. That's not really
private I just thought it was a fun fact :-P
You should message me if
You've read this far (congratulations!) and you'd like to get to
know me better (duh...) You mourn the loss of the word "Cowabunga"
in the popular lexicon, or you can't live without healthy doses of
80's and 90's pop culture.
UPDATE: So I've been getting a lot of "stalkers" lately but people
seem to be generally quiet around here. I love making new friends
(I'm from the Midwest so I'm really friendly) so please anyone feel
free to message me. I usually respond (come on...I dare ya...)
