My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Living in Edinburgh by choice, I'm a translator and I like movies, reading, games, well, anything with a good story. I like going out and enjoy a pint in good company, long conversations and have a good laugh.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it, at my own pace and savouring every moment. Because days don't come back.

Also working as a freelance translator. Mostly videogames (from Call of Duty to Hello Kitty) and also poker related things (books, news, strategy articles, etc.).

I also became some kind of journalist, I interview professional poker players, write news about poker and things like that. And get paid for it, which is cool.

I came to Edinburgh because I wanted a change in my life, the original plan was to stay 3-6 months, been here for nearly 3 years now.

As of now, I'm enjoying what I do and where it took me. Being free, away from home, discovering new things all the time... fantastic.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
talking or that I've been said, hang out, make jokes, using the gps for nearly anything (and end lost anyway), forget names and feel horrible for it, find decent pubs, suggest comics, shows and games... and being a DM of D&D.

Also sarcasm. Seems that I'm very good at it. Hundres of annoyed persons can you tell this.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm what people call a big man (getting smaller everyday, but still big), my voice, my sense of irony.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Probably one of my favorite books is Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, but also The Lord of the Rings, Dune and Perdido Street Station. Also the Jim Butcher books of Harry Dresden and the Joe Abercrombie ones. But I could go on for ages.

In music I love rock-hard rock- heavy metal so Iron Maiden, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, etc, etc, and surprisingly I also enjoy Motown. And I still have a soft spot for hardcore bands like Bad Religion and No FX.

Shows... I'm a big HBO fan. I love The Wire, Sopranos and that kind of show. Loving Game of Thrones and feeling sad about when they reach the 4th and 5th book (which are crap). Also love comedies like Arrested Development, Modern Family and Trailer Park Boys... and let's not forget Archer of course.

My favourite movies... Leon the Professional, Die Hard, Drive, Miller's Crossing, Star Wars (the old ones) and the new Batman movies. But I'd be able to write tons of them.

I love comics. I've been reading all my life, and will do forever. I like Alan Moore (mostly the 80s things), Frank Miller (but not the new things), Peter David (love X-Factor), Garth Ennis when he doesn't try to be too Garth Ennis... and lots more. I also like manga, being my favourite one Lone Wolf and Cub (bought all the tomes). I can't stand Tintin. Sorry, but I said it.

Also... why there's no videogames section here? Well, I also love videogames, not only because I work in them, I like them since I was a wee kid and my grandad gave me an Atari 2600. World of Warcraft, Fallout, Mass Effect (except the ending)... I played Super Mario Bros when it came out. Yep. In an arcade machine, but I played it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer, my phones, my bed and my clothes. Yep, I'm very sure I could never do without clothes. The other two... let's say videogames and books. And only because I don't consider friends, family or pets "things".
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What's going on in the world, cat videos I have seen on the Interwebs, stories that I'd love to write but I nearly never do, Edinburgh, what pub should I discover next, what I'd do if I had holidays, then remember I'm self-employed so I'll never have holidays...

Also I'm starting to think a lot in why there are an Enemy rating here. If you want enemies get facebook and look for the people you hated at high school!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
out enjoying a pint with some friends, or by myself (with a pint) if I need to chill out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I prefer to dodge this one and answer it in person. Let's keep some mistery, right?

mainly if you want. If you want someone to hang out, chat about nearly anything, laugh about everything, chill out, enjoy Edinburgh and have a nice pint. And let's let things happen meanwhile we have a good time.
