I have way too many books, way too many cds, and way too much free time. I compulsively spend money when the ren fest comes to town. I talk to my kittens because...well they listen..kinda. I have a small group of close friends and find it hard to venture out of that group. Which seems to be dwindling because of moves to other states or impending marriages, sigh. And I have coined a new descriptive phrase for myself "The pleasantly well fed looking brunette" my kind way of saying a bit chubby. and no...I don't walk around with my breasts pushed up all the time like in the picture, that only happens during certian weekends during the summer. And well...as you can see in most of my pictures...I like to play dress-up.

Finally finshed with school (thank god!), working with kids, perfecting my laziness skills, and I have aspirations for the island of Guam...but you only get to know about that if you breech my inner circle of friends...dun dun duuuun. Then theres the obsession with dressing up as either a faery, pirate, or wench at the Ren Fest. Nothing like a corset and a big mug of mead on a 90 degree day! I am also a fun loving quasi-decent belly dancer. As you can see by the pictures I go all out. I work part-time at a Waldenbooks...which would be my second pick for a dream job. Oh the books! Oh the discount! Oh the actual chance to converse with adults (seriously I love the kids I work with, I call them boogers, but even I have my limits of Hannah Montana and Webkinz. True they are limits rarely stretched but they do exist!) but really its all about getting my trashy romance novels at a discount.

I'm kinda just muddling through life in general at the moment...bored and a bit lonely in the new apartment and tired of both the jobs I'm working. I guess I'm just biding my time until I can find a teaching job...or at least something more meaningful in my life.

The kids I work with have been noticing my eyebrows lately and questioning their authenticity...well rest assured they are all mine....even though I tell the kindergarteners that I glue them on everyday...I love messing with those kids.

maybe the fact that while I have a big friendly smile, I'm still rather shy.

book: the Kushiel Series by Jacqueline Carey, Sadly I love my romance trash novels. But look at it this way, I am a Language/Literature/Writing Major so I have to read the classics and stuff all the time anyways. So in my free time I like trashy stuff. heheh. and holy crud muffins (yeah the kids are effecting my ability to swear) am I loving the Young Adult genre of writers now adays. It is totally my area at the bookstore. I love me some Stephenie Meyer, maureen johnson, daniel waters (yay zombies!...err biotically differents..heheh) and of course all the lovely authors who have donated to my summer reading book club. woot.

..Things that I really like but don't indulge in. Like flowers. I really like recieving flowers, you know when there are bunches of them at a store I'll think to myself: "self, you should get some flowers." but then I'd feel all lame because lets face it, flowers are something you get from a special someone or because you did something really cool.

..how the hell I'm going to get a teaching job in michigan. the answer thus far? scathing laughter in my head.

..that I really need to stop sabotaging myself in the weight loss department. which I'm working on. got the treadmill cleared off. got the new dancing workout cardio DVD. Got the new part time job. I can totally do this! I totally have to do this!

playing live trivia...ahh!! bears!!...drinking with my friends, sitting for a good hour and a half in the bathtub reading a romance novel, spending money on shit that I really like but don't really need, but honestly....probably hanging out at home with a nice glass of wine and chillaxing (thank you my wonderful middle school children for teaching me new words.)

I pick my nose while on the webcam....yeah like YOU have never done it....

and well...its not a secret really, but while I dress very casually, I have this obsession with high-end purses (eek) but I get them at the outlets! really...ok I'll shut up now.

I clean house in my underwear while dancing to teenie bopper music, 80's pop, or Hanson. And I'm damn proud of it!!

I love for people to brush my hair. I have this theory that either I was supposed to be a cat or I was a cat in another life...whichever way you want to look at it. but I love it. looooooooooove. ok. all done.

...you're a bit odd, a bit fun, and don't mind a girl that has a little belly for her belly dancing!

...you don't mind making the first move....I'm a bit slow in that department...or old fashioned depending on how you look at it.
