I am a native washingtonian (born and raised). Except for the time I spent in college I have lived in the metro area my whole life. I absolutely love everything about washington dc.

Being from this area I am a big fan of all sports teams from this area (except the wizards). Even though I don't love the Wizards I will root for them pretty much any night. When it comes to pro-basketball I like to root for players with roots in the DC area. Back in the day I was a 76ers fan because I loved watching Iverson play @ Georgetown (my favorite college squad). Recently I have been a fan of the OKC Thunder cause of K. Durrant. I am a huge Redskins, Caps, Nationals, and United fan. I totally love DC, i don't know if i said that already.

I spent the last 4 years learning that teaching/behavioral therapy is not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I was (and still am on a part time basis) working with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders. I adore the kids I work with, but I can't see myself doing it forever. With that in mind I went back to get another degree in chemical engineering (GO SCIENCE!).

Movies: Fight Club, Willy Wonka, Pulp Fiction, Space Balls, The Big Lebowski, Dead Alive, so many more it would take years to think of them all...

Shows: Lost, Jeopardy, Game of Thrones, The Simpsons, Futurama, Metalocolypse, Pushing Daisies, Trailer Park Boys, Da Ali G Show, Sliders, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, South Park, The Office, Community, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, Homeland, many many others...

Music: I like almost all types of music with a few exceptions. I don't like most country music, but I can't say that all country music is garbage. Darius Rucker comes to mind...

Food: I grew up around great food and I have always appreciated a good meal. My ideal last meal would be Iowa lamb chops with garlic butter mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans. A nice glass of red wine to wash it down and now we are talking about perfection! also more than happy to eat boxed mac & cheese.
