I have been described by a friend as the house left standing after a tornado. From my perspective I'm just an honest guy with a kind heart and a knack for awful timing. I have a strong sense of ethics, a beef with cars, and an over intellectualized sense of humor. I also enjoy theorizing and waxing philosophical a bit too much and prefer to surround myself with talented, intelligent, and eccentric people.

I'm more talented than I will usually admit to being, but owe it all to my friends, peers, and the world around me. Ultimately I get a bit overwhelmed by all the possibilities sometimes, and wonder about the limited scope of time (on a universal scale) I actually have to explore this world. I am always looking for a new adventure or project to satiate my need to grow and learn.

I am a sensationalist, conversationalist, and an environmentalist

I am an organizer and career conversationalist. I can't help but love being outside talking, arguing, and inspiring political action. I have worked for NYPIRG, WFP and other non-profits including my own. In the corridors of city hall they know me as "the bulldog"...But I still have a dream of going to get a PH.D. in physics.

* Recently, I have started a new business - removal and recycling of large quantities of metal (The Steel Guys). It's a little bit environmental, and a little bit demolition. I get to bash things and turn them in for money - it's fun. I also have moved from NYC to new jersey. I'm adjusting.

*Update: Funny how life works. I've come across so many awesome vintage and antique items recycling metal that i'm now switching to dealing in that full time. Looking for an awesome vintage camera? An antique sword? Some retro clothing? I'm your man.

Making people re-examine their veiws on numerous topics from politics to kerr black holes to howard the duck. I like freaking people out on the streets of manhattan. I enjoy watching people question reality, and questioning it along with them.

I'm a talented cook. I sculpt from time to time. I study people and culture. Rhetoric facinates me. Dreaming about gravity. Pulling out 500 lb steel pipes or finding the copper in any machine. Identifying antiques. Defusing awkward situations... unless it's one I created.

Oddly enough people notice my eyebrows more than makes me comfortable. My dimples and cleft come in at second, with my lefthandedness a close third.

Food: Usually any of the meals I prepare. I have fallen in love with Turkish food especially these days.

Post apocalyptic scenarios where I roam the wastes on a motorized tricycle with a black lab named Skid and rescue people while looking tough. Mad Maxesque really. Civil, gender and queer rights. Race relations. The geo-politics of global economics. Sub atomic particles and hawking radiation. That recipe I've been working on. Life in the universe, and what other chemical interactions might make it possible. Do cats and dogs imagine? Why I'm single.

As of late, I find myself obsessing to figure out the base materials in all our modern technology and appliances.
