My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in New York, outside the city. I love music, running and hiking - those three things seem to really do the trick when I need a re-charge after the city has started to get to me. I love Brooklyn, but some day I'd like to live somewhere else. Other than that I'm a pretty quiet guy, so self-summaries are not really my thing!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I've been on a Non-Fiction streak lately.

Movies - Blues Brothers, Michael Clayton, Bladerunner, Yojimbo, old classic movies and westerns (think: Humphrey Bogart, Gregory Peck, Clint Eastwood).

Music - Led Zeppelin, Phish, Grateful Dead, High on Fire, Sleep, Willie Nelson, Elder, Coltrane, James Brown.

Shows - not watching much TV anymore, but I've probably seen every episode of MASH. The Wire, obviously. Some other shows I've enjoyed over the years: Supernatural, My Name is Earl, Firefly, Law and Order (the old school original) and The West Wing (I wish Jed Bartlett was our REAL President)

Food - I'm not a foodie or "adventurous" eater.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I know answering "food, shelter, air, blah blah blah" is much too literal and not very creative or revealing, except that I think maintaining that outlook keeps you more grounded.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If I'm not careful, I could spend ALL my time thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Toss up. Straight to bed after work or out for beers with friends.
