My self-summary Propose an edit

Well to start, my name is Tricia, I am 24 years of age. I am Agnostic, but as long as I am not getting "preached" at I enjoy learning about a person's faith to an extent. I am an overall cheerful person who loves hanging out with friends, watching movies and Anime, playing video games like DDR, and drawing whatever comes out of my brain at the time. I love animals and have a cat currently (she is like a furry daughter). I live life at a slightly different beat than others, but at the same thing I don't have anything to hide from people I meet. It is very important to me never to pass judgements on people without getting to know them first so anyone that does, does not stay associated with me for too long. I am at a point in my life where I really want to have children and hopefully it won't have to be too distant in my future. I am a honest woman and am painfully truthful since I have had too many falsities in my life.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Currently I am working overnights stocking shelves. My job isn't very impressive and can be quite stressful at times, but when I am actually able to help customers or fellow employees, it makes it all worth while. I have attempted to further my education a couple of times (this last time fulltime work and school at once) majoring in animation but there is always something that ends up happening. I just moved in with my sister in San Jose and, sooner than later, will work on getting a better job. My life is pretty simple really. Because of my job I am mostly a night owl but even before that I have been a bit of a hermit. Most of my life is lived indoors watching Anime mostly or being on the computer but I can also be found at conventions like Fanimecon. It is a somewhat geeky life but I would not have it any other way.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

Drawing. I have always loved to draw ever since I was very young and I honestly cannot see myself at any point in my life where I don't. I am specifically a cartoonist and character designer of sorts. I mostly draw in an Anime-esque style but it really depends on each piece. I am often found playing a video game called Dance Dance Revolution. I have played various forms of it ever since around 2001. I am a heavy-mode player and try to improve my skills whenever possible. Costuming is another thing I really enjoy and work on getting better at each chance I get. It is something that definitely interests me at with professional aspirations. On a different tangent, I have great conversational skills and have been told that I am a good listener. Patience is a big thing in my world and it is definitely one of my greatest virtues.

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit

People probably notice first the fact that I am tiny. I am only about 5'2" and underweight at that. Another thing would be my smile since I usually smile to just about everyone. I am not too sure what else I could put here so if I meet anyone reading this please let me know what was noticed. ^.~

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

I am a terribly slow reader so unfortunately I haven't read many books, but I have started to finally read the Harry Potter book series since I had always wanted to give them a go. I read Manga (Japanese graphic novels). My overall favorite manga is Nana and I was overjoyed to find out that it is an ongoing work. I am almost always watching movies and any Anime that I can get my hands on. My favorite movie is The Lion King and I give anything a chance once. I listen to just about any type of music but my favorite genres are Rock, Metal, Jrock/Jpop, and really anything with a good rhythm to it. My favorite songs are Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding by Elton John, Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, and recently Standing (Still) by VNV Nation. Food is a close friend of mine. I visit food all the time. I really enjoy anything unless it is too spicy. I am weak when it comes to spicy foods. Italian and Chinese food I am almost always up for. Also I appreciate any breakfast-serving restaurant or diner that sells good biscuits and gravy.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

1. Friends and family. Making others happy and knowing that I bring someone joy is my reason for living. It is at my core at least. 2. The ability to draw. It is part of who I am and honestly I would be lost at times if I couldn't just sit and draw something. 3. My cat. Tumbles Korogaru Destructor Bubba (she has a line of nicknames) is very important to me and I wouldn't trade her for anything. 4. Anime. It may sound silly to some people but Anime has affected my life greatly and is sometimes one of my only outlets that I can relax with. Animation in general is and always will be involved in my life somehow or another. 5. My computer. It is my window to the world and a source of creative thinking for me. Without it there is no way that I could keep in touch with many people that I know. 6. I guess I would have to say life in general. Obviously I cannot do without my own life, but what I mean here is being able to live life. Sure it kicks me while I am down whenever given the chance but it is the only way to really learn anything.

My current situations and what I want to do next in my life. Since I just moved into my sister's place in San Jose, finding my own place to live is much on my mind.

Working. Honestly Friday nights aren't all that fun for me unless I am coming back from seeing friends before work. Sorry no typical weekend for me.
