My self-summary
Hiya, fancy meeting you here. Very fanciful.

Originally, I am from a tiny town in Northern British Columbia. The closest you can get to a “Wild West” and still be in this fine province. This means I am much like a feral cat that now has a home in the human world; I am lazy in the opulence. I also have occasional and sudden bouts of frenetic energy. Hide your rugs people.

Speaking of people, I like people. Sometimes. I like the idea of liking people. I might like the land more. I enjoy the company of stranglings and the startlingly self-aware.

I am in a poly relationship with messy_muse. She is the most amazing person I have ever met. I am honoured to know her.

I shamelessly abuse commas.
What I’m doing with my life
Being indecisive. Or rather, being exceptionally decisive but forgetting what I decided the day before. If I had a grape for each of the times I've been ecstatic about some new idea and then forgotten about it completely in two days I would have several bottles of wine.

Rocking the hospitality industry.

Thinking/daydreaming, interpreting my night dreams.
I’m really good at
-Untangling huge masses of electrical cords

-Making the best mashed potatoes of all time (while simultaneously contributing to increasing waistlines and future heart attacks). I don't even eat potatoes...

-Using social touch

-Making people fall asleep with my snuggles. It's a super power.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've recently been told I look like mischief. People always seem to like the curls too and some lovely people have commented on my eyes.

My name as well, which is pretty and old-fashioned. It is very interesting how people treat one another due to preconceptions attached to names.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
In no particular order, nor all inclusive:

Authors: David Gemmell, Jacqueline Carey, Rumi, Nnedi Okorafor, Lauren Beukes, Rene Denfield

Movies: The 5th Element, Trick 'r Treat, Up, Rise: Blood Hunter, Tank Girl, Pathology, and Pitch Black. Trying to convincingly fill up glaring plot holes is exceptionally fun for me.

The Alien Quadrilogy is a minor obsession.

Shows: Carnivale, Dexter (I didnt watch the ending so its still pretty), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Firefly, Community, The Animaniacs, BBC's Sherlock, Gravity Falls, Arrested Development and BTVS

Music: I seem to be less musically oriented than many. While I do deeply enjoy some music (even to the point of enthrallment), I am not moved as often, or as able to differentiate bad music from good music with the same level of finesse. If I was forced to choose a sense to lose, I would give up hearing first.

Still, a sample of what I enjoy: Son House, Adam Hurst, Blitzen Trapper, Porcelain and the Tramps (early stuff), Angelspit, Lightnin Hopkins, Halestorm, VNV Nation, John Lee Hooker, The Black Keys, The Decemberists, Infected Mushroom, The Heavy, Natalia Kills and In This Moment

Nommables: Raspberries, tumeric tea, bear roast, baked sweet potato, halibut cheeks
The six things I could never do without
- My wonderful partner
- Delicious delicious tea
- Dreams, of the sleeping variety
- The scent of books
- Good sex, naturally
- My ferrets. So silly!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to be the World's Most Successful Hobo, sexy and possibly bloody things, where I can score some raspberries, gender things, sharp things, urban agriculture/homesteading stuff, diy stuff, ancestral health stuff, really sexy things, alternative building methods, pagan stuff, story structures, the meaning of life, the apocalypse as opportunity to force my will and Utopian ideals upon others.
On a typical Friday night I am
I work almost every Friday. Not my most exciting day of the week for sure. If I am not working: hanging out for ridiculous hours in the bathtub or ocean, playing board games with friends, reading or playing video games
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I want to be a were-tiger when I grow up.

Correction, I am a were-tiger but not yet grown up.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like girls
  • Ages 18–30
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
You want me sift through your innermost secrets... or just a coffee buddy.

You want to be my pen pal. My level of online communications has drastically dropped off in the last couple years and I miss letter writing.

I’m open to the possibility of new friends and/or lovers but casual sex isn’t my thing. If it’s your thing I wish you luck elsewhere.

So, what are you waiting for?
