My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It's been a while since I last updated this, so it is about time I do so.

About me, I am a swing dancing, trumpet playing, poker playing, bike riding (when the weather is warm), cigar smoking, all-around awesome guy. I work in the tech industry for a rather large company (one of the Big 3 in the computer world) but am looking for something a little different at this time.

To break down the above list of adjectives, I will write briefly about each below.

I swing dance, I love to do it, and I am more than willing to help teach you to do it too. I started in college and have been off and on for the past few years. I went to an event in November and fell back in love and have been/am traveling all over the south east to different events. I don't dance too often in Atlanta because the weekly dance here is on Mondays and I have to be at work early for the time being. This got me back into playing trumpet, too. I was a music major for my first 3 years of college before a parting of ways, however getting back into dance has also gotten me back into music, and I love it again.

I play poker 2-4 times a week at a bar just down the road from where I live. It's free to play, no gambling problem here, just needed something to do to get out of the apartment and make more friends.
I am a cyclist. I have a bike I spent way too much on. I raced last year and a portion of the year before. I don't think I will be racing this year because of work schedules changing and dancing, but we'll see. I may try to do a couple.

Cigars, paired with a nice scotch or bourbon, are wonderful. I began smoking them with my dad on his 50th birthday and haven't looked back. Whenever we get together, father-son time is typically spent with a cigar in hand and a good conversation. I also go to a cigar shop on occasion and hang out with a great group of people who are always up for a good laugh.

All-around awesome ... well, that is something that you will have to judge for yourself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a large technology firm in Alpharetta, providing technical support for other very large businesses.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at tying a bow-tie. Okay, so maybe I'm not really good at it, but I know very few people who even know how to tie one. I'm sure if I wore them more often, I would be a pro.

I also make really mean - in a good way - Rosemary Parmigiana Pork Chops.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not really certain what people notice about me first. I guess it would be that I am typically one of the nicer dressed <30 year olds in the room.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
at a cigar shop with some good friends and a few bottles of whiskey/scotch, talking about anything and everything, and yelling at the TV playing Family Feud.
