My name is Nick. I'm caring, dedicated, and very open minded. I'm not very materialistic, people and life are more important than stuff. I'm a romantic, and I enjoy cooking and baking. In general I prefer to do something myself if I'm able, anything from building a shelf to leathercraft to building a computer to wiring an electrical outlet. I enjoy music a great deal and collect vintage 70's stereo equipment. Older rock and techno are what I usually listen to, although my tastes are eclectic enough that I can't think of any style of music I don't like at least a few songs from. My favorite band would have to be Hooverphonic. I collect amour, swords, and the like. I enjoy reading, which I wish I did more of, and don't watch a lot of television. I own several puffer fish, they are my buddies. I have to meet people somehow and this seems better than many ways, so feel free to contact me. I'm very laid back and difficult to upset. Until a few years ago, it would have been that I talk to much and I'm too loud. But I listen more than I speak now, and I'm no longer loud. If they actually talk with me much, probably that I know about a ton of different, mostly unimportant, things.

I haven't really been to the theaters lately, it's too expensive and none of my friends like movies much. Waking Life was cool though. I like many books, anything from scifi/fantasy to permaculture lit to books on financial systems. I listen to almost every type of music, but very little country or rap. I like nearly every type of food I've tried, too, but not into most cooked seafoods. I really enjoy trying to make interesting foods I enjoy. Been reading some Rushdie lately, everything so far is great.
