Self-promotion isn't one of my strong suits so here is a quick synopsis: I grew up in the Midwest, specifically South Dakota. I'm new to Chicago and thought this may be a way to expand my social dating circle. I travel often for business and pleasure (pleasure makes it sound a little creepy...recreation perhaps a better word?).

I'm the owner of a growing business. We recently expanded to the Chicago market which resulted in my relocation here.

I exercise daily and eat right...So I can drink and eat wrong when I so choose. If you're into the shirtless mirror picture please move on. While we're on that subject, I don't browse males on this site but from what I've read on some of your profiles this is apparently commonplace. Who are these douche bags? (will okcupid sensor douche bag? hope not)

Making lists of my skills.

Do people usually tell you upon meeting them what they notice about you? No one I've met has ever done this. I mean other than constantly having my eyes described as "Frank Sinatra Blue" whatever that means. (I call that being passively aggressively conceeded)

Books: Non fiction mainly
Movies: Any, literally
Music: I enjoy all music ("all" is a little misleading because country music is the bane of my existance). I enjoy small venue live local music. This is as pretentious as I'm going to get, but I do have a great love of the symphony, jazz, blues, opera, and theatre. (I have my favorites but listing them would cause me even bigger "douche chills" than what I've already caused myself. If you would like to know please ask)
Food: I love all foods...except black AND green olives. Disliking only one color of olive would be discrimination.

Who is coming up with the "sexually orientated" questions on this site. If you answered "yes" to cutting your partner during sex please move on. No judgements, mind you, but I spend a good deal of my life AVOIDING severe lacerations...not actively seeking a sexual partner to inflict them.

I don't have a typical Friday night but it usually involves drinks in one way or another or an airport.

I've never told anybody this. This is the deepest darkest secret I have ever divulged to anyone...ever. When I was 18 I studied abroad in Thailand and on a lonely night...wait a second OKcupid.com...you almost got me there! Silly website.

You should message me if: you can make me laugh, you love travel, you're not boring, you like to laugh, you realize not everything is worth taking seriously and almost everything can be solved by finding the humor in the situation.

In addition: if you answered "yes" to the question "is homosexuality a sin" please do the following: read the ENTIRE bible and stop chosing which verses to follow and which ones not two. If you cower behind one, cower behind all. According to the bible we are ALL created in gods image. ALL!!! I'm not a advocating any religious stance here but people hiding behind scripture and using it as an excuse for their intolerance is reprehensible. The fact these people are out there is completely mind boggling to me. Feel free to message me if you are in the opinion of homosexuality being a sin. I could be wrong, but I'm not and would love to hear opposing positions. And this ends today's rant on sexuality and the bible in the 21st century. Good day.
