My self-summary
I live, yet I live not. I am, yet I never was and never will be again. My memory will fade into the mists of time, my deeds alone standing tribute to the person who was, and who now is only a name from legends and stories, greater than the man who was, yet not doing him justice. His final remnant being a world changed for having known him. This shall my legacy be now and forevermore.

Aside from the generic introductory mumblings, I'm a huge sports fan, although I'm pretty picky about who I'll cheer for in any particular match (I'm a loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Manchester United), I'm not picky about what I'll watch, less so about what I'll play, although my first choices are hockey and soccer, and I study the Russian martial art of Sambo (similar in style to some of the better grapplers in the MMA world)

In my alone time, you'll usually find me playing my guitar, reading a book or two, or just relaxing with a CD on and a beer in hand. Otherwise, I tend to run in a couple of ever-expanding circles of friends, and, when I'm not at school or doing homework, I'm usually doing something with them.

As a side note: My profile is seldom updated, and contains much that is apocraphyl. In the event of a discrepancy between my profile and reality. My profile is to be taken as correct. Reality has got it wrong.

I am mysterious, cynical, and entertaining
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently in my 4th year of an electrical engineering degree at the University of New Brunswick. If everything goes according to plan, I will be changing programs as soon as possible and pursuing a law degree. Ultimately, after doing SOMETHING (only God knows what at this stage) successfully for a few years, I intend to leave the normal work force and get into politics. Yes I want to change the world, and no, I am not going to create a new socialist workers paradise - I like being able to own property and make money, and see no earthly reason to change that.
I’m really good at
Hockey and soccer from the sporting side of things, and I play a mean guitar. I can mix damned near any drink you could ever want, and play around with the mix to make it better than what you're used to drinking. I tend to be able to disappear in a crowd or anywhere else with relative ease, and generally keep a low profile when I choose to. Otherwise, my talents are pretty wide ranging, and I tend to be thought of as a jack of all trades, and, when I choose to be, am generally thought of as a very charismatic person.
The first things people usually notice about me
Eyes with no discernable colour, a grin that pretty much condemns life as a rather long-winded practical joke that ought not to be taken all that seriously, and a sense of adventure that people tend to notice whenever I walk into a room.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Honestly, this is the hardest part to fill out. I read a lot, I'm a bit of a movie buff, and I listen to just about every kind of music other than pop, country, and hip-hop (although my usual choice is power metal or industrial). To choose a few books, movies, or bands that are either a) superior to everything else I've ever read/watched/listened to, or b) made a greater impact on me than anything else is all nigh unto impossible. However, here goes...

Books: This is an ever-changing list in general. I easily go through 100 books in a year, but there are some that just stand the test of time, and get me back between the sheets (of paper) again and again. They are: The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Hunt for Red October, The Bourne Identity, Shogun, The Art of War (Sun Tzu), and The Prince (Machiavelli)

Movies: Boondock Saints, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Braveheart, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail Bands: Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Sonata Arctica, Iced Earth, Manticora, Thy Majestie Foods: (this is the easy list) Steak, Pizza, Ceasar Salad, ideally washed down with a Guinness or an Alexander Keith's
The six things I could never do without
My guitar, my friends, coffee, a good book, sex, and hockey
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My plans for the future - be it immediate future ("what will I have for lunch?"), near future ("When do I start work?") or fantastic future (Planning to take over the world with an army of penguins and a couple of beer trucks). In general though, I think about the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually, it will start with a martial arts class, and after that, chill for a couple hours and head out to whatever party/bar/club that I'm going to that night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a knack for falling for people who are already seeing someone else.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–44
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You want to talk, and have more to say than either "whats up?" (to which the answer is "the ceiling", and is a fine way to say hello, but really doesnt cut it for the rest of a conversation)or "want to cyber?" (in which case, I will refer you to the section of my profile where it says that I am "seeing someone" and say "no.")
