My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

I am generally a pretty happy guy. I love my job as a juvenile public defender for the county, where I am lucky because I get to help heal the world and get paid for it. My main passions are theater and progressive politics. I am also a movie buff and love most types of music . I enjoy meeting interesting people and spending quality time with my 13 year old son.

I am a bit of a square peg in a round hole. Although I practice Judaism, I am an atheist and attend atheist meetups (great Karaoke). I am also a straight guy in an LGBT Chorus. So if you are into quirky and unusual, good chance we will connect.

If you are into the NASCAR watching, flag waving type, I am probably not for you. Also not into guns or motorcycles.

I go to the gym 4-5 times a week, although I am "cuddly"

I also like to laugh and be silly.

I prefer to keep the Drama on the stage where it belongs

In dating I have found that intellectual connection is key for me to all other connections.

I am casual college sports fan and baseball who enjoys watching the occasional U of A or Diamondbacks game. I do not follow the NFL or NBA.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
1) you like to have intelligent conversations about politics, movies, books and life.
2) You like going to nice dinners, movies, plays, and dancing to live music.
3) you agree with John Lennon's quote "It is weird not to be weird"
4) You can answer this question-What are you reading right now?

FYI-if you are looking for a long term relationship:
1) you are either: Jewish or atheist/agnostic and don't practice Christian customs. (Although I am atheist/agnostic, I do actively practice Judaism). and
2) you have a job and have your life together.

But if you don't fit that LTR criteria, it does not mean we still can't be friends and hang out.
