My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey! I'm here for friends, meeting new people in the area, and basic interest in talking about myself. Hit me up! Especially if you love music, movies, or lizards.

I enjoy all things artistic and spending great time with friends. I'm a thrill seeker, a bit of an activist, and kinda shy. Very Queer/LGBT positive. Bisexual=Pansexual. I love dry and smart humor, but I don't think I ever come off serious enough to execute it. I make some seriously kick ass pasta.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Majoring in art and art history at the University of Iowa. Finding my bearings in independence and adulthood and scary stuff like that. Learning to love myself.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Art, writing, poetry, dabbling in photography, other things, tasting food, making food. I can swallow a hot dog whole and that's kinda cool. I've got a knack for MacGyvering my way around just about everything.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Usually it's my blue hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Big fan of Vonnegut, artsy movies, as well as stupid ones, any and all music, falafels and Thai food. Yum! I don't watch TV a lot, but Netflix has opened my eyes a little. Breaking Bad, anyone?

Music: The big ones are Arcade Fire, The New Pornographers, The Shins, The Black Keys, Modest Mouse, Beck, Sia Furler, Sigur Ros/Jonsi, Pink Floyd, Discovery, Edward Sharpe, and lots and lots of other stuff. We'll probably find some common ground to talk about in there.

My favorite movies are Harold and Maude, No Country for Old Men, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Little Miss Sunshine, Usual Suspects, There Will Be Blood, Pulp Fiction, Big Lebowski, Brazil, and Barton Fink.

Always open to reading suggestions, movies, music, anything of that nature.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Music
-Multiple artistic outlets
-My best friend Jude.
-Clean underwear
-Some sort of organizational mechanism to keep my life patched together
-Reptiles
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Interpersonal relationships, art and it's role in history, history in general, street art, slam poetry, and equity among humans. I can wax "philosophical" at times. I find a lot of value in intelligent conversation, but if you're snooty about philosophy and thought it puts a sour taste in my mouth.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Varies drastically.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't like the dryers they have in bathrooms. I'm also environmentally conscious, and I'd just rather dry my hands on my shirt. I guess it's a mix of the loud noise and that weird feeling of having water droplets run around your skin.
