I'm a total nerd. I love comic books, video games, board games, movies, TV, doofy internet humor and so much more.

In the last few years I have mostly been a shut in, but due mainly to working lots of night jobs. I have finally landed a good paying job where i work grown-up hours.

Good bye poverty line! I just got a well paying job for the first time ever. It's great to be a boss and make some money, and not hate my day. My work is kinda rewarding and not too stressful (most of the time). The long hours are a bit of killer though. I just moved to Brea, and into a real actual house.

I'm a pretty huge gaming nerd. I got lucky enough with the new house to be able set up a dedicated game room. Outfitting such a space has been full of stupid choices, that have lead to a pretty awesome room. Said room is now packed to the brim with boardgames, miniatures games, and role-playing games. Hoping to turn it into a bit of a nerd hang out destination.

And working dreadfully hard to assemble something resembling a social life.

I tend to be really good at making friends. Ever time I meet a new person, or go out on a date it goes swimmingly. It's just getting to that meeting that seems to be that hard part.

I'm also a pretty fair bartender.

My hair, easily. I have long, fluffy soft blond hair. Looks almost foolish in a way.

A lot of people also notice my hands for some reason. I guess they are kinda big?

Do comics count as books? I love comics, everything from weird little indy books, like King City and Wonton Soup, all the way up to not so good Marvel books.

TV: I don't actually have cable service, or even over the air antenna. "Cut the cable" a few years ago and haven't looked back. Hulu, Netflix and a little internet hacker magic keeps me entertained. I'm a big fan of House, Top Gear (even thought I have no real interest in cars) , Doctor Who, Weeds, 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Adventure Time, No Reservations.

Books: World War Z, Behind the Ears, Freakonomics. Currently waiting to dig into the books I have back logged, The Postmortal, Packing for Mars,

Movies: Crank aka the best paced movie of all time, Tokyo Drift which I attest is still terrible but super fun, Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

Just about the only "music" I listen to is 80's and 90's rock. I have really been working to expand that lately with some music from the last decade.

But about 90% of the time I'm listening to podcasts. On a long drive or trudging away at work, they really have the time fly. Currently on the rotation: Adam Carolla Podcast, The Tech Guy, The Giantbomb cast, and This American Life.

The internet, a soft bed, Coke Zero, games, meat, a clean house.

The zombie apocalypse, it pays to be ready.

Space. Curse my tall gangly body! I will never be an astronaut! Exploring space and planets is super fascinating to me. I could watch slow motion rocket launches all day.

My mind races a lot. I stay up pretty late at night just letting my imagination wander. I tend to have lot of trouble turning off the logical side of my brain. While that is good sometimes, it can also be a hassle. After a lone conversation, or a deep game my brain is ticking away at a million miles a second and getting it to slow back down can be a hassle.

Fridays are the start of the whirlwind weekend. Maybe its drinks out with some friends, maybe it is preparing for the busy weekend ahead. Either way it hopefully entails relaxing a bit after a crazy work week.

I'm a total sucker for Disney stuff. Movies, parks, all of it.

I want to date Liz Lemon.

You wanna have a drink, wanna play some games, hang out or just feel like chatting.

Also I finally got a Disneyland pass again. If you wanna be park buddies I would love to!
