My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for a smart lady, who is alright with a big nerd. I'm the kind of guy who can get behind watching netflix in pajamas with some nice tea or a good beer. I fancy myself to be a pretty good cook too, so if you like having somebody cook for you, I think would do alright.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just finished my bachelor of music education at UVIC, and I'm beginning my practicum as a student teacher. I plan on teaching music in schools, so if you are a band geek, we will have stuff to talk about. I am incredibly passionate about music, so I'm sorry if I come off a bit snobby. I am kind of a cynical dick when it comes to that stuff xp. It is my whole life after all.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Music, cooking, drinking beer and Wario Ware. I rule at Wario Ware. Also collecting fine teas. Tea is my other vice next to beer. Tea is the drink of a mighty warrior -_-
The first things people usually notice about me

I suppose it's that I talk a lot. I tend to ramble, but I assure you that most people find it entertaining.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: 1984, Fight Club, J-Pod, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, The God Delusion, God Is Not Great, The Man Who Ate Everything. I spend most of my time reading music scores. I have little time for books unfortunately.

Movies: Little Miss Sunshine, Casablanca, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Sean of the Dead, fight club, The Sting, Moonrise Kingdom, The Life Aquatic, Grand Budapest.

Shows: Anything truly ridiculous, Arrested Development, Archer, Metalocalypse, Clone High, South Park, Pushing Daisies, It's always sunny in Philadelphia, Original Warner Bros cartoons, Dexter, Batman: the animated series, Party Down, Danger 5, The Mighty Boosh, Tim and Eric, Bee and Puppycat, Adventure Time.

Music: This should be a bigger section for me.
Shostakovich, Beethoven, Grieg, Schumann, Mussorgsky, Gabrielli, Mozart, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, The Unicorns, Islands, Midlake, Mclusky, The Shins, Elton John, really anything that shows talent, innovation, originality, and artistry (that might seem like a broad window, but it isn't. I'm not easily impressed lol)

Games: Bioshock, Final fantasy 9, Binding of Isaac, The elder scrolls, diablo2, League of Legends, Conkers bad fur day, wario ware, Link to the Past, DK Country 2, Journey. If it came before the 3rd generation consoles, then I would probably approve it.

Food: Anything but clams.

Beer: Odin Brewing - Freya's Gold Kolsch, Hoyne -Voltage Espresso Stout, To Øl - Black Malts/Body Salts porter, Too many more to mention.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1 - My Laptop
2 - Music
3 - My best friend
4 - Good Absinthe
5 - Really good beer
6 - My drive to teach music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking and discussing the aesthetics of art/music, and the redundancy of organized religion and superstition. Both are huge parts of my life and I have very strong opinions on both.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking craft beer with my best friend. We are aspiring beer snobs. Goddamn do I love good beer :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My main instrument in university is the tuba xp. Keep in mind that is only my major instrument.
I also play a slough of other instruments that don't make me look like a dork. Conducting is my major passion though. There's nothing more freeing than shaping the sound of 50 other musicians with only your movements and expressions.

You have good taste in beer, music, movies, people, and if you can handle a romantic. I am pretty cheesy at times. You have been warned.
