My self-summary
Hand model by day, asleep by night.

I love canoeing and camping or fiction novels. I'm also a fan of arguing with Siri. I always win.

Child me once thought it would be a good idea to play hide-and-go-seek with my parents without telling them we were playing. The policemen they called disagreed with that assessment.

Burt Reynolds is my spirit animal.

All of the above are a great summary of myself without using any painfully overused buzzwords.
What I’m doing with my life
So far as work goes: I am still excited daily by the challenges in my job (Project/Program Management at a tech company,) so I either chose the right line of work or the honeymoon period for this job lasts at least two years.

When it comes to my career, I'm definitely ambitious. I strive to give my best every day and focus on what I can do to push myself and my team to the next level.

In my spare time, I'm picking back up the piano, taking some glass blowing courses, or sampling a new craft beer. Always looking for new cerebral hobbies. I'm also working on my scuba certification.
I’m really good at
Balancing my checkbook, whistling, critical thinking, fixing computers, interpretive dance, public speaking. Someone at work compared watching me on excel to watching a maestro on the piano. Probably the high point of my entire life. You're probably thinking that's a great pick-up line, but it doesn't work as well as you'd think.

I'm also generally good with maps and directions. If it were still a viable career choice, I'd have probably been an explorer or cartographer. This is a valuable skill while traveling.

I'm also really good at trying to be funny. You know, the kind of funny where everyone groans.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically - I'm often confused for the Old Spice guy. It's a curse and a curse.

Personality - I'd like to think that I'm kind.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'll try to be brief.

The Sirens of Titan, Rainbow Six, The Silmarillion, A Song of Ice and Fire (Martells welcome; Greyjoys need not apply), Hadrian's Wall, The Good Guy, True North, Fear and Trembling, this list goes on - feel free to ask if interested.

Up in the Air, Stranger than Fiction, Garden State, Robin Hood: Men In Tights (Or any Mel Brooks), Sweeny Todd, Thank You For Smoking

Television:
Archer, New Girl, Futurama, Firefly, The Simpsons, The Daily Show or Colbert Report, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Game of Thrones, and the IT Crowd.

Music:
Texas country, 90s, New Zealand based popular guitar digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duos, Rick Astley, Nerd Rock, Film Scores, Bluegrass, Irish Rock, Country and Western, Jazz, Musicals, Modern Bollywood, Acapella. This list could go on. I love music.

Food:
I'll try anything and everything. This trait once led me to down several "shots" of sea urchin on the half "shell" at a fish market in Santiago.
The six things I could never do without
The internet
The phrase "That escalated quickly"
Spotify
Opposable thumbs
Road trips
Lists that are six items long.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Sriracha sauce. I would estimate approximately 90% of all conscious and unconscious thoughts are about that fiery, red gift from God.
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching a movie, at a concert, or having a chill night in with a book, movie, or other method of entertainment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hadn't had nutella until 2012. I don't know how and I don't know why. It's probably the most embarrassing thing about me.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–28
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You know a good concert to hit up, a dive bar, or other San Antonio gem that a non-native might have missed! Or if you watch Archer.
