I am Outgoing, Witty, and Adaptable.
My Self-Summary
So I've been here in Seattle for over a year now, and I'm totally
happy I made the move. I'm a very social person with a rich friend
network but am open to meeting someone for a little more... I love
reading film the arts cars seeing shows dancing seeing shows and looking at life
from a slightly off-beat perspective. I value honesty, wit,
integrity, and edginess in others. I love having diverse
experiences when it comes to friends and activities.
What I’m doing with my life
Excelling in a trade that I enjoy doing, even if it's not super
prestigious. My primary goal in life isn't necessarily achieving
success in the traditional sense of the word. I measure myself by
the relationships I have with others, the people I love, and those
who love me.
I’m really good at
Dancing in public, socially-sanctioned settings...scoring at thrift
stores...feeling comfortable in a room full of people...making
friends...being entertaining...empathizing...talking about the
automotive industry and culture...nodding, knowingly when I have no
idea what you're talking about...driving a stick-shift...vegan
cooking...and underestimating myself
The first things people usually notice about me
my eyes, my hair, and my warm and friendly demeanor
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
classic british literature and gay classics are my two favorite
literary genres, but i also enjoy modern fiction. Authors: David
Leavitt, Alan Hollinghurst, E.M. Forster, Edith Wharton, Larry
Kramer, William Makepeace Thackeray,
i love mockumentries like Waiting for Guffman and Drop Dead
Gorgeous. i love films by Tom Tykwer, Luc Besson, Wes Anderson, and
the Cohen Brothers. A random sampling of films that paint a picture
of my cinematic tastes: Paris is Burning, Me You And Everyone We
Know, Happiness, The Royal Tennenbaums, The Fifth Element, Party
Girl, Lovely and Amazing, A Single Man, Dancer in the Dark, It's a
Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Chelsea Girls, The Talented Mr. Ripley,
Maurice, Cold Comfort Farm, and Ronin.
I like dance music, remixes, electro, hip hop, freestyle, indie
bands, heartbreaking singer/songwriters, pop, etc. Artists: Missy
Elliot, Li'l Kim, Spank Rock, The Knife, Fever Ray, Girl Talk, Fake
Blood, Klaxons, Robyn, Kid Sister, Thunderheist, Peaches, Mirah,
Joy Division, Passion Pit, Cut Copy, Coldcave, Perfume Genius,
Chicks on Speed, Lady Gaga, Flosstradamus, Richie Panic,
Sleater-Kinny, Le Tigre, The Blow, The Gossip, Bjork, Annie Lennox,
Morgan Page, just to name a few
i am currently eating vegan, so I've been eating a lot of Southeast
Asian food lately
The six things I could never do without
my transportation devices
my best friends
a strong gay community
the internet
libraries
naps
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I would buy my friends if I won the lottery, (and what I would
buy myself too), where I could find awesome thrift stores, when and
where I'll be going out later, who I'm going to hang out with
today, how grateful I am for my health and happiness
On a typical Friday night I am
meeting up with friends, then going to dinner or coffee, followed
by a movie night or going out, unless I have to work the next
morning in which case i'm probably in bed reading or watching Hulu
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't drink or do drugs, but i smoke cigarettes... sigh
You should message me if
you are kind of strange, have specialized interests, have a biting
wit and are a good conversationalist.
