My names Turhon, and I find the most peace in nature, I feel as though living simplistically is good for the soul. I enjoy learning about all subjects, especially eastern philosophy, but history, physics, and literature are all things that fascinate me, and can stir up emotion in some instances. Mediation is a new thing im trying, and so far it's shown me excellent results, I highly recommend everyone tries it once a day. When im not working or in school, I really love writing, especially poetry, and short stories, as we get older our imagination becomes stifled by the rat race we call society, so having a creative outlet is something I enjoy, and need. Within the last few months ive also tried my hand at painting, and I cant tell if im good or bad, but Its fun!. I am also an advocate for environmental sustainability, and equal rights for all people. Volunteer work is another activity id like to spend more time doing, so if anyone knows of local groups feel free to send me a link.
Hiking, camping, nature trails, dive bar once in awhile.
Im somewhat new to ga, originally from Connecticut, and although CT is small, the beauty of new England is immense and theres a old nostalgic Vibe
I especially value humor, being able to laugh at yourself, being able to communicate, culture in general, social issues, staying healthy, and the freedom to think out of the box
I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart
The morning, which is the most memorable season of the day, is the awakening hour. Then there is least somnolence in us; and for an hour, at least, some part of us awakes which slumbers all the rest of the day and night... All memorable events, I should say, transpire in morning time and in a morning atmosphere. The Vedas say, “All intelligences awake with the morning.”
― Henry David Thoreau, Walden
“It’s clearly a crisis of two things: of consciousness and conditioning. We have the technological power, the engineering skills to save our planet, to cure disease, to feed the hungry, to end war; But we lack the intellectual vision, the ability to change our minds. We must decondition ourselves from 10,000 years of bad behavior. And, it’s not easy.”
– Terence McKenna
