Now that THAT'S out of the way...

Well, I've been self-employed for nearly 9 years as an independent mortgage closer. I know what you're thinking. What the heck is that? I'm the girl who meets with the borrower when they either refinance their current loan or purchase a new home and explain all of the mumbo jumbo that is involved with the closing. I have clients all over the country and subcontract closings in other states as well. I can see I'm starting to lose you, let's move on to something a little more interesting....

In all seriousness, I spend a good chunk of time finding new ways to build my business and network. In my free time I love to do Spinning, Kickboxing, and weight-lift. I love trying new recipes in the kitchen but it can get boring just cooking for one. I'm the chili master and if you're lucky maybe you'll get to try some.

I'm still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. If money were no object I'd own an alpaca farm, a sports bar, and a guide dog training center. I don't fit into the corporate 9-5 box and will forever explore new ways to stay far, far from it.

Embarrassing myself and laughing about it.

Giving sincere compliments. I don't give them that often so when I do I really mean it. I'm not just blowing smoke.

Thinking outside of the box. Asking questions that others are afraid to. I'm very curious by nature and love finding out why people do the things they do, what makes them tick, why we are so different when at our very core we are all basically the same.

My white girl butt haha jk. Hmm, I don't know...I don't ask people what they notice about me! Probably my height, and I'm always in heels which makes me even taller (thank you Captain Obvious). Or maybe that I'm so polite. Maybe its a southern thing but I ALWAYS say "please", "thank you", "yes sir", "no sir", etc. I'm the girl who holds the door open for EVERYBODY, even if they're 20 feet from it. I don't have a malicious bone in my body and am more likely to be hurt than mad.

I'm from TX so I'll eat just about anything.

The Glass Castle and The Jungle are my favorite books.

The League is the funniest show on tv right now. I've already decided to name my next dog Ruxin.

I prefer gritty, dark, thrillers over rom coms BUT I do love 500 Days of Summer. Warrior, Drive, 300, Rudy, all favs.

Filling out ridiculous online dating profiles that no one will ever read.

I have ADHD. That being said it's hard from me to focus on anything that lasts over an hour or so. I watch movies in sections. My phone conversations aren't usually longer than 15-20 minutes (if that). Some people find it incredibly annoying and some people aren't bothered by it at all.

You have a personality. You're funny without trying to be. You're more than just a pretty face and/or nice body. You're secure and confident without being cocky or conceited. You enjoy movies like "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" but also like "300" and "Warrior". When someone asks you what your favorite book is you don't say "Maxim".

Not to get all cliche on you but "Must Love Dogs" is pretty important. I'm not saying you have to be a part-time dog hoarder but if you don't like dogs chances are we probably won't get along. I can understand not liking cats, they can be moody little bastards, but not liking dogs, just...no...me no understand this. If your little detail box on the right says "Dislikes Dogs" I'm not going to reply to you. Sorry, just being honest.

Okay, getting off my soapbox now, I'm afraid of heights anyway.
