My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am 35 years old, single...but obviously someone could tell that from my headline up there. I love to spend time outdoors, walking my two dogs (Bodhi and Chico). I love to read, and write short stories. I am a published author. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places...I lived for a year in Outer Mongolia. I have also traveled in England, Ireland, Italy, and France. My idea is that experiencing new cultures pushes the intellect in new and exciting directions.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a Respiratory Therapist by profession. I also have a B.S. in Anthropology and Psychology. On a more general note, I am trying to make the most of every moment, and grow intellectually and spiritually in as many ways as possible. We ride the wheel of fortune in this life, mais non?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think I am a good listener and a good friend. I consider myself to be a loyal person. Sometimes I am good at pushing people's buttons...unintentionally, usually! I also feel like I am good at finding the best in life...I am in most ways a positive person.
The first things people usually notice about me

That I AWESOME! Just kidding. Homo sapien? Not sure how to answer this.

I am re-reading Henri Bergson's Creative Evolution. I love this book! Written in 1907, it attempts to make a correlation between biological evolution, and the evolution of creative thought. Not so farfetched, when you consider the concept of cultural memes..ideas that propogate and reproduce like viruses, because of their intuitive appeal to structure of the human brain.

My favorite movie is Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola. Ask me tomorrow, and get a different answer. This movie has so many different layers to it...the concept of the double, reflections on the importance of time and language, souls lost and recovered in a spasm and a burst of Sanskrit...absolutely compelling.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My books, my curling iron, my books (these deserve to be on the list twice), my sense of humor, my curiosity, my vision of the world as a place aflame, with sparks expanding and contracting in each and every moment :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I don't spend a LOT of time thinking about any ONE thing. I think about many things in small bursts...myself, my friends, my vision for my life, things I read...imagination is a wonderful faculty. I try to push mine to the fullest extent.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
When I am off from work, I like to watch a movie, or read a good book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
wouldn't be discussed on a public site. Isn't this true for everybody?

Although, I will admit I picked this goofy username while because I was trying to pick a password, and now I don't know how to change it.
