My self-summary
Describing myself in a box really doesn’t do me or anyone else justice, but seeing that this is the way millions of people are meeting nowadays I figured I would give it a try. (Hope people actually read these things)
My name is Tye, and I am originally from Oahu (Hawaii, and no I am not a military brat, I am actually of Hawaiian descent). I am Cuban, Hawaiian, Irish, and Japanese, with family all over the world. I have lived in Florida for 5 years and have spent a lot of time finding myself, and where my life is taking me. But due to some recent unfortunate events, everything has sort of fell into place, life always has a humorous/sadistic way of making you realize things.
I am an artist and a jeweler, I write either poetry, short stories, or log a journal by hand and/or laptop every day. I have had my own business for 6 years now selling my art, jewelry, herbal mixtures (both for medicinal and metaphysical use). As well as accessories from around the world, vintage and antique items, statues either I or friends have made/painted, gemstones, chakra sets, new age books, and the list goes on. I have had my merchandise sold in various stores throughout Orlando in the past and have vended at many art fairs and new age stores/events. I am currently putting that all on the hold at the moment to pursue my goal.
I in the future plan on opening an outreach center for broken families, foster children, abuse victims, and LGBT individuals. I also plan on starting to learn American Sign Language fluently; I feel that out of any language more valuable to know is one where you speak from the heart! I chose this path because I have haven’t had the best experiences and have witnessed many people in my life wander aimlessly throughout it all. I feel through this that I can provide unconditional understanding, and bring hope back into their lives!
I can be neurotic (comes with being artistic) and I can be passionate, simple yet complex. If given the chance I can be your friend for life, maybe even more, but if someone is not ready for either I will not lose sleep over it. I want people to ask me anything that they want to know, I am truly an open book, so if there is anything that anyone is intrigued into asking, please do so!
What I’m doing with my life
Slowly waiting to work my way into becoming an outreach worker and a counselor, just deciding where I want to continue this goal. I am at a 50/50 stand off on deciding to stay here and open my center, or move back home because I know the community could really use it. I want to set the record straight, paradise is a lie even if it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world. I know for sure one thing that I will not stay in Hawaii the rest of my life, I actually see myself living on the West Coast; probably California! As the days go by it gets clearer so I do have a destination, it’s just a matter of putting ALL the necessary time in.
I’m really good at
Being myself, I don’t and never have fit into a specific crowd or group of people. Being creative, and I truly appreciate every form of art whether it is paint, sketch, sculpting, dance, photography, etc. I am a really good friend, and if anyone needs anything I am usually the first to show up on the scene. I am loyal to the core of my soul; I have NEVER cheated on a single guy I have ever dated. And I stick up for my friends, family, or complete strangers. I have gotten into altercations (both physical and verbal) before defending others, it’s not that I am proud of it but if I need to help someone from harm I am always the one to step up to the job!
The first things people usually notice about me
I change my hair color at least once a month, so that is most definitely one major thing people notice. People notice my piercings, and some of my tattoos it just depends on what I am wearing. I am an island boy, and I tend to be louder then I realize (No I’m not tone deaf). People ALWAYS notice that I have a very unique laugh, it’s not annoyingly high pitched or really low, it actually makes people laugh even harder because they don’t expect it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite books vary from Medical textbooks, Metaphysics, Buddhist, Alternative Healing (Both Herbal & Crystal Healing), books on Angels, Seals and Sealions (my FAVORITE animal) or some fictional or comedy!
I like all kinds of movies but like foreign and independent films the most!

Music: Punk, Raggae, Classical, some Alternative, a lot of Metal. Meditation ,Belly Dancing, and cultural music always make me happy cause I do Belly Dance and Hula!

TV: Anything good! Discovery Channel, Science Channel, Animal Planet, History and H2, Logo (Sometimes), Spike, WE, etc.
Shows: Bones, Criminal Minds, RuPaul, Family Guy, True Blood, any and all documentaries on Outer Space, the Ocean, Archaeology, etc. Also any documentaries on the history of mankind, religion/cult leaders, or on the history of human sexuality! My favorite movie, hands down is What Dreams May Come!

Food: Italian, Chinese, Cuban, Creole and Cajun, Hawaiian, Samoan, Filipino, and Indian. I was raised vegetarian though, didn't eat meat til I was almost 13 so naturally I LOVE Vegan and Vegetarian food! Hummus is my best friend, and Pita Pit and the Dandelion Cafe are my two favorite places to eat here in Orlando!!!
The six things I could never do without
1. Family
2. Art
3. Music
4. The Ocean
5. Love
6. Friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I refer to my mind as The Hamster Wheel because it is never still. Mostly think about life, love, and how I can make the world a better place! Also think about how good it feels to know you can truly rely on a person to be there emotionally.
On a typical Friday night I am
Really depends on my mood, but I really need to make new friends cause the ones I have can tend to be flaky. I like to go out dancing dont get me wrong, but I would much rather be at someones house having a good time! Usually I'm at home listening to music creating a new piece of work!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Nothing in my life is private, so if someone wants to know something about me feel free to ask.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 18–35
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You feel that we click enough to at least chat, be online friends, or if you are in the area maybe actually meet up and get tea or coffee. I personally am not opposed to finding someone to be in a relationship with, but I take things slow. I am not in high school anymore, but if there is something more than physical attraction and an actual connection/spark then I will highly consider it.
