I am Funny, Loving, and Musical.

My Self-Summary

Well, I'm usually always the funny guy in the group but I have an warm loving side most don't see. I'd really like to find someone special but I will wait. I tend to make the first move to say hello but that's it. Despite my out-going and loud personality I'm very shy around other gay guys. I wish I wasn't but it's the way I am. Feel free to message me as I'm always willing to make friends. Networking with other gays is the way to find a guy, as I've been told.

I can sometimes be a hard nut to crack open but if you can manage to get me to open you'll be scoring a lot of points with me. Just be yourself. You'd be suprised what things will get you noticed more.

I don't feel I have a type nor do I always think the "hot" guy is the most attractive. I have always been a guy who can find an attractive quality in any person male or female, gay or straight. Looks are not a huge thing to me. I don't think I'm the "hottest" guy in the world, I'm far from it, so why should I expect "hot" guys to come running. I probably wouldn't notice them anyway.

I also don't really like using the word "hot". It's very over played and I don't feel it means anything.

I'm an old fashioned type of gay guy. "I believe that when a guy takes another guy out he should treat him like a lady." (Name that TV show and score some points! hehe)

What I mean is telling a guy he's hot, to me is not a really huge compliment. Saying "wow you're very cute, attractive, handsome, gorgeous those are compliments. Now I understand some guys get creeped out when things like "you're gorgeous" are said to them cause they are not used to a guy being honest and flirting. They are used to a guy saying "Dude you're fucking hot! You wanna meet up and fuck?" Not everyone is out there looking for a quick lay.

Have some honor for yourself and flirt back with guys like us who want to be your friend first before anything serious starts. You never know one of those guys who just messages you and says "you're very attractive. would you like to chat sometime?", could end up being your soulmate and the guy you spent your life with. And you miss it cause he didn't say "let's meet and fuck!"

What I’m doing with my life

Well, mostly acting in theatre has been my hobby for the last 13 years. I've been in 30+ shows and am trying to get into theatre that pays. Until then it's community theatre and working. Just recently started choreographing shows. I'm currently in the process of trying to find my own place.

I’m really good at

Making people laugh, singing, writing, acting and cooking.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes and my smile. Also that I am sometimes loud and always funny. Also that 99% of the time I am wearing dress shirts. I really don't wear anything else in public.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Guys and Dolls, Gypsy

Movies: Billy Madison, Follow That Bird, The American President, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Pleasentville, Stranger than Fiction, The Great Muppet Caper, Jesus Chrsit Superstar (2000), Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Clue, Labyrinth

Music: Mostly showtunes (I'm a "Theatre Fag"!) Other than that it's oldies like Billy Joel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, 70's Disco, 80's Pop, Some 90's Pop. I don't really listen to a lot of music from today, though I enjoy John Legend, Johnny Lang and Gavin Degraw

Food: Did you see my picture? lol (Pretty much anything)

TV: The Simpsons, Family Guy, Law & Order: SVU, Will & Grace, The Golden Girls, Harvey Birdeman: Attorney at Law, The Venture Brothers, Infomercials (I don't order anything but I love to watch them.)

The six things I could never do without

Friends, Theatre, Music, Television, My voice and endless glasses of "Sex On the Beach" (I don't like beer....hard liquors are the drinks for me!)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything....or mainly the theatre shows and projects coming up.

On a typical Friday night I am

at rehearsal for a current musical/play I'm in and then it's out to a restaurant after with the cast and crew. (I'd love to have someone to bring with me though.) Otherwise I'd be trying to get one of my friends to go out somewhere.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Well this isn't really private most people know it but I'm a huge vast knowledge of musical theatre and showtunes. When I'm by myself 95% of the time I'm either listening to showtunes or singing them myself.

You should message me if

you feel compelled to.
