My self-summary
My name is Ty. I work in Social Work and really enjoy it.

I moved to Austin a few years ago and I like to be active and social.

I enjoy 95% of the movies I like and 100% of the food I eat. I see the best in people and have to start choosing friends for who they are choosing to be and not their potential.
What I’m doing with my life
Grew up in Richardson; I studied a couple of degrees: Health Administration and Public Health; Worked with downtown Dallas homeless for a year; Now trying to start-up my career on a good and grounded right foot; Positive permanent change takes time, but I am a patient man.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh and finding positive qualities in everyone and everything.
The first things people usually notice about me
Is me talking to strangers and trying to make people's days a little brighter. I tend to think that saying of, "That boy could talk to a BRRRICK wallll," is a compliment.
The six things I could never do without
- Creativity
- Imagination
- The ability to stop hobbies as quickly as I start them
- Cooking
- Close fam and friends
- A higher power
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Appreciating people for where they are in life and seeing good in everyone. How to be more compassionate.
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling and cooking or hanging out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
(1) I am a gay Christian.
(2) Making my bed is far more difficult for me than it should be... everyday.
(3) I have an addiction to smoothies... and movies.
You should message me if
You try your best to be a good person and you like birds... because I have two pseudo-trained parakeets. No, they don't perch on my finger (we are working on that), but I can appreciate them nonetheless. ;)

Also, I would like someone who would enjoy volunteering with me. Being out in the community and helping serve others is where it's at. May be lame that community service is a turn-on for me, but there needs to be balance in any relationship. If someone can give to a stranger, they acknowledge others' current life paths.
