Let's not muss about - I'm a nerd. A geek. A gamer. A science fiction and fantasy enthusiast. I spend time with my friends sitting around a table full of character sheets, dice, and mountain dew pretending to be a character in an adventure story. I own more than one lightsaber. I sometimes dress up like a character in a movie to go out and see the movie. I frequently work at Renaissance Festivals. I RickRoll, occasionally attempt to divide by zero, and accidentally the whole bottle.

Still here? Excellent. If none of the above seriously disturbed you, kudos. If you actually identified with some or all of the above activities, I'd really like to meet you.

The rest of me in summary:

I was raised by a wild pack of therapists.

I'm a sopping-wet liberal.

I may be a gamer but I refuse to smell like one.

My relationship experience is vast and varied; I've traveled a rocky road.

I like semi-colons, and occasionally prefer to spell out "ampersand" rather than using the symbol (if you don't know what that is, take a look above the seven on your keyboard).

I also enjoy clubbing and have a giant social circle of friends of varying degrees of closeness. Just because I'm a geek doesn't mean I'm socially inept.

This is the first site of this nature I've ever tried, and I come here under duress at the insistence of my best friend anti-type. I have since been joined by my good friend (ampersand most recent ex-girlfriend) AvaTrimble, my friend LupusMaximus, and my roommate Pitxi. My lady-friends are hot and smart and good people; and yet I manage not to sleep with them. If you have trouble getting your mind around this bit, be less insecure. Or be another hot and smart and good-personed lady-friend that I manage not to sleep with.

I work at Disneyland in various capacities. I've been in the Character Department, and have had many adventures as various costumed thingamies.

If you're looking for a "good man who can support a family", keep looking. Yes, I can support a family. No, I won't support yours. ...OK, maybe someday...

I also wear a fine wool three-piece suit to work every day, and am partial to French cuffs and interesting cuff links. I am lucky enough to have a job which allows me to dress up to my heart's content.

I am also squirreling away my pennies that I might one day open my dream business. This involves coffee, RPGs, and fine fiction. It may also involve sub-culture paraphernalia and music, we shall have to see.

Storytelling, listening, introducing new people into social groups, and performing. Er, yeah... I do a bit of theatre as well.

I'm also terribly handy when you need something fetched from a high place (see below).

I'm tall. People sometimes like to tell me how tall I am, and ask if I play basketball.

I'm 6'5", and basketball KILLED MY FAMILY. *sullen glare*

Food: Yes. Cooking it and/or eating it. My list of comfort foods is pretty epic, suffice to say I can find something I like on just about any menu.

Romance.

Cuddling.

Coffee (or strong tea).

Cigarettes.

Stories. I've constantly got character ideas, development, and/or game trivia floating about my head. Also romance.

Like many clever people, I can sometimes get so introspective that I roll up into a little ball like a pill bug.

Either going out to Das Bunker with friends or playing D&D. No, really.

I share a room with my guinea pig Hennwynn. Guinea pigs are more appropriately called "Cavies" or "Cavy", and have no actual relation to pigs or Guinea (new or old). Hennwynn enjoys cuddles, being talked to, exciting noises, and most vegetables. Hennwynn has frequently been accused of being a "chubby-wubby-fuzzy-wuzzums", but she has as yet declined to comment.

I want to talk to people who think about stuff.

I want to go out and have fun in interesting places with interesting people.

I want to game.

I'm not on a mission to get married or get laid. While I'm not OPPOSED to either possibility, don't assume my agenda when I talk with you. As a matter of fact, you could be totally crazy and ASK.
