My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love people and am an extrovert who gets energy from being around others. I've had so much fun in life so far and have had so many wonderful connections that I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm passionate about education and don't believe in awkward moments.

I recently returned from a road trip around the U.S. where I visited all of the states which I've never been to and spent at least one night in each one. I used Couchsurfing.org to find hosts to stay with and ended up meeting around 40 hosts who have positively influenced my life so much that I feel like I owe them the world. My long-term traveling goals have been fulfilled and now I'm planning on more 'typical' vacations with a week or two here and there.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as an Adjunct Professor teaching courses in Operations Management (IT). I also have a part-time job working as a para-professional and substitute teacher with pre-k through 12th grade. Teaching is something that I've realized I have a passion for so I'm spending as much time in the classroom as I can so that I can get a feel for the work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh.
Telling stories and connecting with people.
Singing in the shower and car.
Knowing what random acronyms stand for.
Being out of my comfort zone.

Knowing random things that never come in handy. I stayed with an Amish family in Shipshewana, Indiana and their daughter asked how it is that I know so many random things. Dean and family, if you get internet, hello!

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I typically read memoirs / auto-biographies because I love to hear people's stories. I've enjoyed Dreams from My Father, The Yankee Years, Bringing Down the House, Stephen King: On Writing, 1984, and Choke.

Movies: I absolutely love laying down on the couch in the evening and watching a great movie. Here's a taste: Bruce Almighty, The Town, Big Daddy, Shutter Island, Police Academy, Philadelphia, There Will Be Blood, Crash, and Office Space.

Shows: Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Walking Dead, Southland, The Office, Ray Donovan, Looney Tunes, Trailer Park Boys, and Seinfeld.

Music: Music is very important to me. I enjoy Explosions in the Sky, Tupac, Green Day, The Killers, Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World, Journey, Rancid, Guns N' Roses, Elton John, Queen, and much much more (sorry, I just watched an infomercial).

Food: Favorite food is pizza and favorite topping is buffalo chicken. Lately I've been making an effort to try new foods.
