My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Confident about life, very curious, and love to be around other people. I've also been told that I'm a good storyteller.

Sometimes it's a little tough for me to feel a great connection through messaging back and forth via OKC or texting. I'm really more of a face-to-face guy. Don't get me wrong, I'm OK with taking our time to meet; but, I might be a little (hm...what's the word?) slow in getting to know you with a meaningful conversation until I can put a real face to the name. But, rest assured, I am very colorful in person.

Here are some things that I love:
- Life
- Mondays
- Long shot ideas
- Reading random things on Wikipedia
- Looking up trivia on IMDB
- Exploring new place
- Spending time with friends / family
- Finding awesome live versions of my favorite songs on YouTube
- People
- Outdoors
- Adventures
- Writing
- Going for walks (A LOT)
- Road trips
- Photography
- Lists
- Humor
- Looking up lyrics to songs
- Last minute plans
- Conversing about various topics
- My job!
- My students! There are few things in the world I love more than having 1:1 chats with my students
- Competing against my Geometry Honors class to see who can come up with the most dad jokes (PS, it's me)
- CT!!! I've been to all 50 states and I still love CT. We have a lot to offer if you only know how to look.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
WORK: High school teacher by day and part-time adjunct professor by night. I started working as a teacher in February and switched careers from working a corporate 9 - 5. Teaching is one of my top 3 passions in life.

OVERALL: I do the things that I love and hate. I love to challenge myself.

TRAVEL: I'm big into exploring and have recently added my camera as a companion. I've been to different countries, continents, and last summer I made a list of all of the states that I had never been to and visited each one. It took about 100 days and I drove ~14,000 miles.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Managing finances
- Enjoying the moment
- Staying cool when things get stressed
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm only 5' 11.5". What's half an inch? To a guy, apparently it's a lot...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm very flexible with my favorite things if I'm with someone I mesh well with and feel comfortable with. Otherwise, I might be a little slower at reasoning. I'd love to find someone who I can exchange favorites with.

BOOKS: Memoirs / auto-biographies.

MOVIES: LOVE MUSIC. Sample: Bruce Almighty, Mrs. Doubtfire, Life, Home Alone, Police Academy, Office Space, Ace Ventura, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Town, There Will Be Blood, Crash, Dear Zachary, horror movies, and nature docs (ex: Life, Planet Earth, and Frozen Planet).

SHOWS: I don't watch TV much and don't binge watch on shows. Here's what I got: Dexter, The Office, Better Call Saul, Looney Tunes, Trailer Park Boys, Family Guy, Judge Judy (guilty confession), and Seinfeld.

MUSIC: I'm probably listening to music while doing most things throughout the day. Sample: Explosions in the Sky, Green Day, The Killers, Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World, Fountains of Wayne, Journey, Rancid, Elton John, Fun., Fitz and the Tantrums.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Car
2. Tea
3. Music
4. Internet
5. Friends / family
6. Writing. To me, writing is both expressive and therapeutic. I write about open topics like philosophy, psychology, and observations I have about the world and its people. I also write about detailed topics like how to stay motivated, how to overcome shyness, and how to engage a student using positive reinforcement.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- Life
- How I can give back to the world
- Improving the quality of my life
- Why so many girls cannot live without chapstick
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Typically relaxing with my friends. We go out to bars occasionally but are more likely to go for a walk around Downtown Hartford, Bushnell park, a swing set, or some new area that we're exploring.
