My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Grew up in Texas, schooled in Minnesota, lived in London, and have called New York home for a little over 5 years. I'm not one of those people who instantly fell in love with NYC, but I do enjoy finding new reasons to stay.

I adore films and have a MoviePass (look it up, thank me later) so I see a lot of movies in theaters. I always stay until the lights come up at the end, even if I know there isn't anything afterwards. It's my favorite way to ease back into reality after a great film.

I'm an incurable optimist.

I've never had a broken bone, stitches or a bloody nose. I might be unbreakable. No big deal.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in television. I dabble in creative stuff. I search for eligible bachelors on the internet.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
using proper spelling and punctuation in text messages.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Crooked smile. Red hair. Freckles. Curves.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Just finished "The Good Girl" and looking for a new book to read on the train while I listen to whatever music the guy next to me is blasting through his headphones.

Movies: I will see every Marvel film the first few weeks it opens despite the fact that I have never read a comic book in my life, and if there's a British film in theatres, I've probably seen it twice.

Shows: Archer, You're the Worst, New Girl, Better Off Ted, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Black Mirror, Parks and Rec, Spaced, Arrested Development. I can't stomach reality shows, no matter where the Real Housewives are from.

Music: The Kinks, Mumford and Sons, Nina Simone, Hozier, Vampire Weekend, and The Shins are all heavily in my rotation these days.

Food: Almost everything from the ocean. Rare Steak. Good Pizza. Bad Pizza. Also: I keep a bottle of Sriracha on my keychain.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
WiFi. Corny jokes. Sleeping in. Passport. Books. Headphones.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
where to go for brunch.

I have a serious crush on brunch.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
dining at a new place. meeting friends in dives for beer and nachos. watching Netflix and drinking wine. swinging kettlebells at the gym. scoring rush tickets to a Broadway show. drinking classic cocktails in dimly lit bars until last call.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to dress up as a giant pinecone for money.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't confuse "there," "their," and "they're."

Or you just feel like engaging in some witty banter.

Also, if I've "liked" you on this thing, it means I really really really want you to message me.
