I am a 30 year old, single female, originally from the UK. I think I am best described as attractive, outgoing, intelligent, compassionate and funny. I am level headed and down to earth but love to laugh and have a good time. I am in a great place in my life, have made great friends since I moved to NC two years ago and I really love my work.

I have a wide variety of interests and love spending time around people. I love life and try and enjoy the moments as they arrive. I enjoy good company, music, art, food and rich experiences.

My main passion is for travel, I really enjoy visiting different places and exploring / trying new things. There is nothing I like more than doning a backpack and wandering off into the greater unknown!!!! I recently spent 3 weeks backpacking in South East Asia which was absolutely fantastic and I feel much richer for the experience.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I spend a lot of my free time hanging out with friends, meeting for coffee and chatter, having dinner, watching a movie, clubbing. I also really like live music and have spent the summer going to lots of gigs.

I try and keep active and work out regularly. I am not really a person for sitting around and doing nothing, although I do like to hang out and relax in good company. I have varied interests which run from scuba diving or riding my motorcycle to reading a good book or cooking a new meal.

Being new to NC and kind of new to the US I try to travel around to different parts of the country / State as much as I can. I also travel a lot with my work.

I have two dogs who I love and when I am at home, I really enjoy taking them on long hikes- well I guess they take me really!!!!

My job,which I really love. I am good at inspiring and managing people, at making people passionate about the projects they are working on.

I am pretty organised and am good at planning trips and events. There is nothing I enjoy more than throwing a big extravagant party!

I am a big people person and am also good at making people laugh and feel at ease. As well as being very extroverted I am also a good listener - well i think I am :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

I love Italian and Indian food and enjoy attempting to cook new dishes- this is not always sucessful!!!!!!!! I recently took a thai cooking course so am now investigating my ability as a thai chef :)

I have very eclectic tastes in music from folk, indie and main stream stuff to hip hop, rock and classical. I really enjoy going to live gigs and dancing. I also play classical piano.

I enjoy reading and my taste in books is varied, I really enjoy travel books about new places and other peoples adventures. I also like biographies, books on current events and a good crime novel. I usually have two or three books on the go at one time.

I enjoy movies, from main stream action films to individual films and documentaries. I think one of my favourite films is Amelie. I also really like Hot Fuzz which I guess is due to my UK roots. Recently I went to see Ghost Town which was really funny and then of course the new Bond movie.
