Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I bike to work as I loathe time lost staring at brakelights. This
isn't to say I don't enjoy kicking back with a good tv show,
captivating book, or close friends and a bottle of wine. But life
isn't to be wasted alone in a box.
I grew up next to mountains and became enamored with wandering
through them by whatever means available, feet, backpack, kayak,
tram when available. California has endeared me to the beaches and
forests as well. But the views! To eat lunch on the pass, looking
50 miles to each direction to the furthest peaks. And then on dark
night in the late summer, the view is out of this world.
I have since fallen for the bay area for its weather, clean air,
beer, whacky people, dynamic culture, and of course, bridges. At
some point I would like to move up into SF proper.
While enjoying the all the incredible comforts of modern
civilization (most of the time) and not sleeping or in lab, I seem
to spend most of my time playing guitar, cooking, climbing, playing
random sports, or on a good night out exploring the city.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I run an atomic physics experiment, making lithium super cold. In
practice this mostly means dealing with lasers, electronics, code,
and broken equipment.
