I used to beat up the kids that picked on the "special students" during recess. Now I work with those with chronic mental illness.

I speak quite a few languages, enjoy coed naked underwater basket weaving, have an addiction to Sushi and humor is my defense mechanism.

Arrogant people make my right eye twitch.

Other than that, I'm just me.

Honestly though, I'm kind of a quirky girl. I'm ambidextrously brained, I will knit for tattoos, I am the friend that everyone comes to for advice and bail money. I pride myself on keeping my eyes, ears, heart and mind open. Making me laugh goes a long way with me, I think the brain is the sexiest organ and I'm the kinda gal you can take anywhere and I"ll have a good time. Now I just need a good partner in crime ;)

If you're still reading this... woo hoo! Another thing that's important to know about me- I'm a really honest person. What you see is what you get with me- I don't play games. I honestly just don't think I'm even wired to be able to. So, I'll rip off the rest of the band aid for ya now..

1. I am a single mom. I know that's a frightening thing for some guys and I understand why it would be. But, it's what I am. I'm good at it too and my lil monkeys rock. They are way cool, tons of fun and sooo loving. So, yeah, a serious relationship with me eventually means a package deal. It's a good package though :)

2. I'm a curvy girl. My hourglass comes with a ghetto booty at the moment. But, I work out frequently, eat healthy and am really active. While I am a bit of a work in progress so to speak, I'm also comfortable & confident in who I am. I take pride in my appearance and who I am.

If you've stuck it out this far, are thinkin' "hmmm...I think I can hang with this.." and aren't into the whole game thing... say hi. :)

My eyes- probably the glasses and my smile- probably because it's usually always on my face.

Hmm... half the fun of getting to know someone is learning this kind of stuff. I have a HUGE range in all my likes and my mood at the time usually is what guides what I'm reading, watching, listening to or eating at the moment. I'm also always up for trying new things too, so open to your likes as well.

I'll give ya just a lil bit of some of them though.

Books- I'm a big reader. I'm sure that may be shocking. ;-) I've read everything from Dorothy Parker to Anaïs Nin, John Irving to Banana Yoshimoto, the Autobiography of Gandhi to Simone de Beauvoir's Letters to Jean-Paul Sartre and from The Rules of the Red Rubber Ball to knitting books.

Movies- I have a secret love of Kung Fu movies (yup, with subtitles), I love anything with Audrey Hepburn in, big fan of Kevin Smith and Tarantino, Anything by John Hughes (from '82-'89), generally dig John Cusack, Burton flicks, Juno, Office Space, Saved!, Young@Heart, Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Story, oh the list is long....

Music- This is even harder than the last two! You can catch me listening to everything from Puscifer to Matisyahu, Beastie Boys to Bob Marley and Motown to Louie Armstrong. There's not many genres out there I can't hang with.

Food- Did I mention my love of sushi? I'm up for new dishes all the time. I can cook up some pretty good Indian. Of course Italian and Mexican are always good standbys. Totally dig Thai as well and LOVE a really good salad.

What is this "typical" you speak of?

I'll give ya two....

1. If I know a movie is going to make me cry, I will avoid it like hell until I am in the right mood to watch it.

2. I'm a totally snuggly and kissy girl. Those are two of the things I miss most about being in a relationship. Cats aren't the same to snuggle with and your friends look at you weird when you try to make out with them while you're sober.

1. You do not have any current restraining orders against you for stalking. Past ones may be negotiable.

2. You don't have an issue with kids.

3. You can handle a girl with junk in her trunk and you won't have an issue with it when it's no longer there as well.

4. Dating like 6 girls at a time is NOT your thang.

5. The rest of my answers haven't sent you fleeing. :)
