My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've spent most of my life in Milwaukee and know the in's and out's of the city, but a large part of my identity relates to world culture. I've traveled across multiple continents, spent several years in the caribbean, and feel lucky to have experienced all of the things that I have. Milwaukee is a city best during the summer, and it's fantastic to be able to enjoy the sun (If it stops being foggy long enough to notice).

I'm the sort of person who can enjoy doing just about anything for a night. I'm all for exploring hidden corners and gems of Milwaukee, from exotic grocery stores to festivals and music to fantastic restaurants, or even spending a night in, playing games.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am enrolled in a DNP (Doctorate of Nursing Practice) program at a local college, which has given me a lot of opportunities to grow personally and professionally. I started my hands-on clinical experiences in the last few months (Less than a year until graduation!) and am collaborating to coordinate an African aid project as a part of completing my education.

I also work in a nursing role where I provide vaccinations to international travelers. Travel has been a huge part of my own life, and I enjoy hearing about people's stories and adventures.

With the winter melt beginning to clear, i'm excited to get out and explore the city again! Exercise and outdoors time is something that I deeply value, and it's wonderful to be in the half of the year where Milwaukee's weather is pleasant enough to spend time in nature. Going to the gym is great, but it's wonderful to be able to augment that with long hikes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have a laundry list of unusual skills and hobbies. These include cooking, cake decorating, lifting weights (form is important!), playing various instruments, building computers, rooting gizmos, and treating the sick.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Food, virtually anything that's well-prepared. I haven't eaten fast food in the better part of a decade, I like cooking at home and exploring lots of restaurants. There are a surprisingly large number of hidden gem restaurants in this town.

Movies, I tend to like documentaries, but am open to pretty much anything. My favorite non documentary movies are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Lost in Translation.

I usually watch TED talks on my own, but am always open to new films and TV shows. I've spent a lot of time catching up on Vice stories lately, and have also become an avid Game of Thrones fan.

Music, while it's a cliche to say that I listen to pretty much anything, I'm fans of artists in most genres. Lately i've been going through a big Telepopmusik phase, with a lot of trip-hop thrown in. I listen to a huge variety of modern independent artists though.

Good friends to talk to after a hard day
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Maybe hanging out with a few friends, or trying something new. I'm typically not out at bars or clubs, but every now and then I'll see a show.

My backup is always reddit though, or catching up with buddies across the globe online.

If you're passionate about something and want to share that love with the world.

If you don't have a cat. No hate against felines, but i'm allergic to a point of them being an absolute deal-breaker for me.
