My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd rather summarize someone else... Which brings me to this.
If you're going to message me, be different. I don't mean make your message different... I mean I want you to be different. It seems like I spend weeks or months on someone only to have her turn out to be exactly like the last person I dated.

Anyway... Self-summary, right.
First of all, while I generally pick my words carefully, I can be a bit blunt. That's just me, so don't read into it too much.

Second of all...
I really don't know what to write here, I've never been on a dating site before (kind of just here to see what it's like) if it said "biography" then I'd correct it to "autobiography", but it doesn't... So there goes a chance to look witty. Drat!
Anyway, I'm currently in college, but there's more on that below. No sense being redundant.
I enjoy reading, good food, outdoorsy type stuff, listening to music (going to concerts, collecting records, finding new music online -- all of it), playing golf (yes, I know, lame), driving, working on something mechanical (mechanical things make sense, and sense is good), and holding interesting conversations. I love the night, too... It's calm. Nighttime is the best.

If anyone here is into the psuedoscience that is MBTI, I'm an INTJ through and through, though I know I don't always seem like it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm a poli sci major at GSU... Was an English and poli sci double major, but got tired of the foreign language classes required for an English degree.
Hoping to go to law school after undergrad.

Was the manager of a thrift store, but it closed. Trying to decide where I want to go from here.
At the moment, I'm just working on my motorcycle and becoming a "core member" or "senior member" of every forum out there.
Lame, I know.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Using exit ramps to pass people...
Using the turn lane to pass people...
Passing people in the right lane...
Passing people in the left lane...
Cutting across 5 lanes of traffic...
Making it through yellow lights...
I think that's about it.

But on a more "serious" note:
Academic writing and editing.
Fixing things.
Using sarcasm.
Remembering useless crap.
Fishing, won some open tournaments when I was younger. No, I'm not a hick.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair. I've got "luscious white boy hair", or so I've been told.
Honestly though, my hair's my best feature.
It's usually longer than it is in the pictures.

Then my height, or lack thereof.
Then my long eyelashes -- no, I'm not wearing Mascara.

Sometimes people'll make a comment about my resemblance to Drake Bell, but I just don't see it. There's the whole glaring issue of me having a beard, haha.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Ayn Rand novels, 1984, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, It's Kind of a Funny Story, A Million Little Pieces, Little New York Bastard, Running with Scissors, Michael Moore books (they can be interesting), books on legal theory, Jonathan Kellerman novels, Faye Kellerman novels, Howard Roughan novels, Lisa Unger novels, Harlan Coben novels... You should be seeing a trend here. Psuedo-intellectual bullshit, depressing indie bullshit, and psychological thrillers. Ohh, and classical stuff, too... The Iliad, the Odyssey, the Aenid, etc..
Also, every single Nancy Drew book, in elementary school. And Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Hunger Games (and the Gregor the Overlander series -- hipster here), and the Series of Unfortunate Events. And pretty much every fantasy/adventure book/series... Don't judge. So yes... Kids books, back then.

I don't watch much, at all.
But when I do, it's Suits or Big Bang Theory... Or Sherlock. And I'm working my way through House MD, currently. House and Sherlock both live in 221B... I noticed that, thought I'd share.
Guilty pleasures? I've seen every episode of Jerry Springer on youtube, a good bit of Catfish, and a good bit of Teen Mom.

The first 2 Harold and Kumars, all 3 The Hangovers, Eurotrip, Click, Inception, Life is Beautiful, Legally Blonde, every Steve Martin movie I've seen, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, The Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Raising Arizona, Fargo, Barton Fink, O Brother Where Art Thou, Requiem For A Dream, Donnie Darko, Ladder 49, V for Vendetta, Casino Royale, The Matador, Rain Man, Good Will Hunting, Little Miss Sunshine, Daisy Diamond, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Blues Brothers, Spaceballs, the original 3 Star Wars, and last, but by far the farthest from least... The Brave Little Toaster!

If it's not (newer) rap or (most) country, I bet I listen to at least some of it.
So anything rock-based. Wait... That's cocaine, isn't it? Oopsy. But really, if it's not rap or country (though I like a some rap songs and a couple country songs) I probably like it.
Classic rock, hard rock, prog rock, alternative rock, punk rock, indie, metal, hair metal, groove metal, pop rock, old hip hop, jazz, blues, scratching, whatever.
I collect records and I love concerts.
I can appreciate intricate music more than most people, too.., I played the most manliest instrument ever, in high school.

I will eat most anything, though. Except seafood or pig.
Love onion rings, cheese, brisket, steak, veal (hate me if you must), green beans, broccoli, kiwis, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and many other foods.
Also, I love Dr. Pepper and cream soda... And water, and black coffee, and grape juice. Bourbon, too... Basil Hayden's, especially.
Mexican food and Italian food are great -- same for Chinese and Japanese. Thai's not bad either.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no apparent order:
-My Jeep (a Cherokee... Don't expect a Wrangler -- darn elitists think their Jeeps are the only Jeeps.)
-The internet
-My ratty leather jacket
-Something or someone to provide a bit of laughter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How little tiny things can impact our lives in big ways.
How often people contradict themselves.
The next thing I'm going to do to one of my vehicles.
How OkCupid's personality thing is TERRIBLY wrong about me... Okay, nevermind, they changed it, it's almost spot on, now. I'm not immoral, though -- I just have a "who does it hurt" mentality; I guess it's utilitarianism, though not taken to the extreme.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not doing what I should be doing, and probably screwing around online and browsing a forum, or working on my motorcycle.
Used to play Dota, but my Dota friend kind of lost interest.
Used to work out, but I moved away from the only place I could do so for free.
So... Yeah, browsing the internet or working on my motorcycle.
Or reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an OkCupid profile? But that's kind of a given...
Hmm... I have a thing for girls with lip rings and dark hair. Not so much private as it is weird to admit, but close enough.
However, I'm definitely attracted to girls with lighter hair and ringless lips as well.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you've made it this far and you're still halfway conscious.
If you don't mind short guys or guys with beards.
If you're a night owl.

Don't be afraid to message me first, by the way.
I probably won't initiate... So if you're secretly hoping I see that you visited my profile and decide to message you, you're probably better off just messaging me.
