My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
This is all getting redone, because I'm recently single :)

I'm a gamer, deluxe model. I use the term gamer because I'm not just into mmo's or table top games or some single genre, I'm down for anything. My main game lately has been Warhammer 40k, a game where you build and paint your own models to play a game in which you're the general of an army. Sort of like army men with rules.

You're still reading? Holy shit, thank God, if you've made it this far then your nerd-fu is probably strong as well. I guess I'll continue.

I fight. I'm a member of the Belegarth Medieval Combat Society. What does that mean? It's complicated. Mix fencing, Kendo and MMA (minus the head shots) and you're close. It's a combat sport. It's also a life style. We have huge campouts (as little as a hundred, as many as 1500 people) where we fight, get sloppy drunk and party our asses off. If this sounds like fun you should find a way to talk to me.

Now all the real life stuff. They're after all the fun stuff because while I'm going to graduate soon, my degree or job or how much money I have in the bank is not what defines me. I'm in college, I'll be graduating in Feb. of '11 (crosses fingers). I'm going to DeVry for my degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. I work at Target, in the deli slicing lunch meat and basically cleaning up at the end of the day.

See why I wouldn't want to bring that up first? It sounds boring to me too.

I am down to Earth, loud, and obnoxious
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living it, breathing it, bombing it.

I travel a lot, I love to hit up friends in Madison Wisconsin, Bloomington IL or even Utah. I love road trips.

Mostly though right now the focus has to be (should be?) on school. Everything else should be taking a back seat. But I'm only in my late 20's, I'm in no rush.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Giving advice. A lot of people tell me they think I'm psychic, but I'm just really good at understand people, since deep down we all really want the same things.

I'm good at almost anything involving fine motor control. I've played video games forever, and they've given me very good hand eye coordination, so now I can thread needles and things like that real well.

I'm NOT good at dancing, but a few drinks can get me to try. I'm not a crowds kind of person usually, not into bars or clubs. I like movies :D
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm large. Take what you're thinking and go bigger. I'm 6' tall and wide to match. I'm also fairly kind and generous. I'm a dog in the chinese Zodiac and I take that to heart. I make a lot of useless noise. I like to cuddle. I'm a slob. Dog pretty much covers it.

All in all, I'm pretty much just out to have fun, I don't let the opinions or social standards of others keep me from accomplishing that.

A: Several 40k novels, including the Horus Hersey series and Rynn's World, The Zombie Survival Guide, The Drizzt Series, LOTR, Sandman comics, This Perfect Day. The Harry Potter Series. How to be the Pope.

B: In order: Fight Club, The Dark Knight, Transformers, Constantine, Matrix, The Butterfly Effect, High Fidelity, Dogma. Pirates of the Caribbean, Disturbing Behavior.

C: Adema, Marilyn Manson, Covenant, Stromkern, VNV Nation, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Alabama 3, The Offspring. I'm really not crazy about any of them, I like about 5 or 6 songs from all of them. Except The Offspring, I fucking love The Offspring.

D: Pasta, burgers, Chinese (buffet), all?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I originally had a sort of "If I were stuck on a desert island" list on here. Then I re-read the question. "Live" without and "Do" without are really two different concepts.

My computer is pretty high on the list. It's sort of my window to the outside world. Some people are crazy about their cell phones, I'm that way about my computer.

I need friends, they're so important to me. Loyalty is for sure a trait I have. Coming back to edit this later.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
People. If I had any time I'd be a people watcher. People are fucking weird. I'd know, I am one. You can learn a lot more than most people realize by watching to them, or even better talking to them for just 5 minutes. Everything we do betrays our inner thoughts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the movies. I try to catch a flick every Friday night, I LOVE going to the movies. I go to the expensive theater buy the expensive popcorn and drink the expensive soda. I love it. I hardly ever run into a movie I don't like. Have you seen a movie? Thought it was bad? I probably liked it. I often hear "How could you have possibly thought that crap was good?"

The following exceptions apply: No Country for Old Men, Zodiac and Transformer 2 (and I liked the first one!).

I always thought this was kind of a dumb section. You breathe?

Are you bored? Do you wish you were having more fun? Do you enjoy having a good time? Would you have a better time if you were having a good time with someone else?

Jesus, I fucking hope so. Just message me. Or I'll start killing kittens.

A better section would be: DON'T message me if:

Your idea of a good time involves going to the bar (pool hall is okay, or bowling alley), or a club. When I go out, I like to CHILL THE FUCK OUT. Diners, outdoors somewhere, that kind of thing. Having to deal with a bunch of people I don't know, especially drunk idiots I don't know, is not my idea of a good time.
