Well, to start off, my name is April, and I'm a small town girl from Harlem, Georgia. I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll. I am "down to earth" kinda girl who enjoys the simple things in life, but give me a red solo cup with Jack and coke and I can party with the rest of 'em! Jeans and a t-shirt work just fine for me. I'm not a high maintenance chick who thinks love is a 4 letter word that will pay for whatever you want. That's not to say that I can't be girly, because I can, but I'm pretty much a tomboy!
I'm a bit of a dork/geek/gamer too. I'll play certain xbox games, but mostly I am a PC gamer...ie World of Warcraft, Diablo, Sims, etc. Been looking for a tabletop rp group. Would be awesome to get back to my roots, lol! Yes, I'm one of those! Started out playing Dungeons and Dragons in middle school with my best friend! It's what I do and what I like, what can I say?!?
I'm a very open-minded person, and am open to trying new things. I'm not afraid to open my mouth either to let you know my opinions on something, or what I think.
I'm a bit of a poet. I don't think I'm any good, but people have told me I am. I write mostly because it's easier for me to get things out with pen and paper then it is to say it.
I love to read, I'll read any book I can get my hands on. I'm mostly read scifi/fantasy books, but I've been known to crack open books by Elizabeth George, John Grisham and Philippa Gregory.
I am the proud mommy of 3 furry children. They are my babies and make me very happy!
I'm a bit shy and quiet, but once I get to know a person, I feel more comfortable and open up more.
I'm on here mainly just to find friends and new people to talk to. If I meet someone, hang out with them, and things go further than just friendship, naturally, then I'm down with that. I won't be pushed into something that doesn't feel right, though, and I don't want to play games. I've been in too many messed up relationships and I graduated from high school a while ago!
I'm not sure what else to put, but if you want to know something, just ask. :)
