Okay, most of the people on here, might have been in situations similar to mine so that's why we are all here.  We use the internet as an "ice breaker" for people we want to meet in our area.  But I think along the lines a lot of dating sites completely miss the mark.  I would even say that OKC could improve.

Seems like to me that a lot of dating sites like to lure people into them, and ask them to pay a fee, then try to promise them they'll get whatever they want.  I think this is very, very misleading.  Especially to those who are desperate enough to crave love.  The way I see it, it's praying off of other people's emotions without really being truthful.

I've tried those "pay" dating sites.  I'm sure a lot of you have too, and I have to say that, I have had much more luck on OKC than I have there.  I tried Yahoo Personals for a while, but only really found two people to talk to.  One forgot about me in a bout a week, and the other was a college student with no ties, so I was really nothing more for her than an amusement.  Maybe it's because I can't convey myself in a way others can see, or maybe I was just typing in a too boring of  a way.  I've had more success on OKC though.

Basically what I am trying to say, is I personally don't feel that people should need to pay in order to meet new people and I hope other websites like OKC open up in the future.

I usually don't write in these, as I am not a blogger, of any type, and I certainly don't go around touting my personal business to everyone.  Also I have thought that any of the things I'm interested in will scare away the women that I would wanna be with, but you know what?  Screw it.  Those interests are also part of my personality, and if she can't get past that, then I don't need them in my life.  So I'm gonna blog a lot more from here on out.  So expect a lot more entries in the coming months!
