What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just moved to Brooklyn from San Francisco to enjoy your brisk winters.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Organizing trips, party planning, helping friends move (anything that involves organizing, really), board games, dancing to anything and wedding speeches.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

COMEDIANS: Paul F. Tompkins, Eugene Mirman, Norm MacDonald, Maria Bamford, Hannibal Buress

MUSIC: Belle and Sebastian, Elvis Costello, Pulp, Blur, Andrew Bird, They Might Be Giants, REM, Pixies, XTC, Joe Jackson, Divine Comedy

BOOKS: Since moving to New York I've been trying to read book pertaining to the city. The Paul Auster's New York Trilogy (not much insight into the city in this one), Motherless Brooklyn and The Fortress of Solitude by Jonathan Letham, Patti Smith's Just Kids. - in truth I'm not much of a reader most of the time. Rereading some Calvin and Hobbes.

MOVIES: Empire Records, Die Hard, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The Fifth Element,Kicking and Screaming (and a lot of Noah Baumbach movies), So I Married an Axe Murderer, Mad Max Fury Road was great.

SHOWS: Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Community, Futurama, Agents of Shield, The Flash, Empire, Orphan Black

PODCASTS: How Did This Get Made, Radiolab, This American Life, Slate's Political Gabfest, 99% Invisible, Doug Loves Movies, Stop Podcasting Yourself, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, The Moth

...long runs
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
