Writing these always feels like trying to write an obituary for yourself. I'm a male who attempts art as much as anyone can. I have a normal job as well. I took up golf because I wanted something fun to do. I took up knife throwing because golf made me feel really old.

I was a history major once and still feel that old things really trips the trigger for me. Wrought iron and the old world where imagination was still key. However technology is also fascinating and useful.

I'm a goofball most of the time but I also know more about death art and cemeteries than probably anyone I've known or will know. I read voraciously but also enjoy crappy horror movies. I am a huge nerd and do nerdy things but I can also diagnose car problems and have alternatively played football, soccer, and wrestled. Which was my favorite. I can still shoot a double leg.

I don't see food as anything more than to sustain a body but I still enjoy eating. I am independent but also enjoy touching. I am a person but not easily molded or changed. I would appreciate it if you appreciated that.

Attempting to find more time within a twenty four hour day. I feel that in lost Hyperborea ancient mathmagicians were able to distort reality and hide at least one extra hour per day from me. I will find it.

Also I have continual dreams of starting an evil country band. Think of a combination of the Misfits and Johnny Cash. Pipe organ players should definitely contact me.

Other than that I work full time, go to school full time, and have a burgeoning career as an artist. So I'm working on doing the hustle and flow without feeling like I'm self-aggrandizing. I don't handle compliments well.

Making weird comments, drinking, trying to quit smoking, making people laugh, somehow embarrassing myself at the exact moment I'm doing something interesting, graphic design, and preparing for the zombie apocalypse. Hint: It's all about community.

I'm tall, have tattoos and piercings, and always look tired? Hell if I know. They probably hear my boots first.

Classical literature, mythologies, horror, ghost stories. Really I'll read just about anything.

Musically I'm heavily into dark Americana, horror punk, psychobilly and rockabilly but my tastes are all over the place. I have a not so secret fetish for cheesy pop as well. Examples would be Murder by Death, .357 String Band, The Dirt Daubers, Reverend Glasseye, Strawfoot, Spookshow, highlonesome, The Pine Box Boys, and O'Death just to name a few.

I watch movies and shows. Currently Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, and American Horror Story are some of my favorites. I have a thing for villains and eagerly wait the day when they do a criminal procedural. Who really cares how the cops catch them?

Something I find beautiful to look at, bad movies that will shut down my brain for a moment, self expression, dreams of my mind and hands working as one, non-Euclidean geometry, fantasies to bury the alienation on industrialized society.

The future and how to best capitalize on it in a way that satisfies me and makes my life fulfilling.

How I'd probably be more comfortable and successful in a weird west setting. Zombies, scarecrows and guns.

Working on a piece for a class or for my general enjoyment. Probably chasing a cat around for a break every once in a while. More than likely however I will be at work.

I'm a pretty open person; just feel free to ask if you're curious. For the purposes of this profile though I am also a huge comic nerd and can lecture someone for hours about why DC is better than Marvel though I probably won't. Oh and I spend way too much time thinking over the metaphors of mainstream society reflected by popular trends in horror films.

You're smart, a little kinky, and can appreciate a bit of a morbid viewpoint to life. An appreciation of history and alternate uses for musical instruments is a plus.

In truth you probably shouldn't. I am caring and compassionate, volunteer for animal shelters, and listen. However I am also strange, don't care much for traditional gender roles (I like shopping dammit), and value the person I am not who other people want me to be. There is a very strong chance you won't be able to handle me.
