My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll be honest with you. I can hardly take this site seriously and I really only keep my profile up because it's just as difficult to meet people in person so I keep my options open. That being said, I am totally open to meeting someone in person (in fact, that's the goal isn't it?) and will not judge you one bit for being on here. Frankly, I would love to hear from someone sane, attractive, and single. Sadly, I don't expect it.

Sometimes I'm at work, and I'm bored, and I will send out a message to someone. So I have no issues with sending out an introductory email. And if I write to someone, of course I hope they write me back. However, as I know from personal experience, you never know who you're really talking to, so I don't take it personally if I don't hear back. I've talked to guys posing as girls, girls using other girls pictures, and of course the good old sudden disappearance while conversing. And a smattering of crazy too, which is always fun. So it's not worth getting upset over.

So that's just all to say that while I am a really fun, down to earth, respectful guy that you should want to say hi to, I'm not going to chase you. I very well might in a real world setting and I am far less cynical than this might lead you to believe, but what I'm really interested in is getting off this bullshit website and not running the mental obstacle course of proving to some girl who may or may not be the girl in the pictures why she should let me take her out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing, being creative, and living life next to the fast lane. You know, so I can switch over every now and then but sometimes it's nice to just relax and cruise. Of course, it's hard to write when I'm driving so maybe it's best if I keep them separate.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Parallel parking. Actually, parking in general. I will say, I can parallel park the hell out of a car, but even just parking in a regular spot seems to be too complicated for a lot of people out here. So, I'll say parking.
The first things people usually notice about me

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Pretty much anything as long as it's good. I like sci fi, fantasy, history, biographies. You know, the ones with pages.

Movies: Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Amadeus, Rocky, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, What About Bob?, Army of Darkness, This is Spinal Tap, The Warriors, Running Man, Halloween. And I'm always down for obscure movies from pretty much any time period.

Shows: I assume this means television shows. This one is hard to answer because shows come and go, you know. One day they're here and the next, they're gone. Or they're Two and Half Men and just refuse to die. I feel like I'm safe in listing Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, and Community as favorite shows. Modern Family. But with Netflix and DVDs these days, I also love checking out older shows. So, if you really want to talk about what shows I like, that's a much longer answer. You should message me and ask.

Music: A little bit of everything, but I am a metal guy. I mean, I love classic rock, 80s, electro stuff and some indie stuff too but I probably listen to more metal than anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't know but one thing I could do without is surveys about things I couldn't live without.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't really take this very seriously until we meet in person.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you want to impress me by making the first move. And don't feel like you need to come up with some long essay (although I welcome long messages so feel free to write away). A hello is totally fine too.

Nothing is mandatory but I am a big fan of the following:
Music on vinyl
Zombie movies
Girls who wear lipstick
Damn good kissing (OK so one is mandatory)
BDSM (no, not whips and chains. ask me)
Action movies from the 70s/80s
Extremely fun conversations
Intellectual stimulation
Curvy chicks

Being from Texas, I like sports well enough and l like playing them, but if you need someone who really cares about a team and watches games, I'm not one of those guys. Also, I like going out and dressing up but I'm not big into the club scene. Anything between fancy restaurant and dive bar is fine with me. But I'm a big fan of cooking at home and having a movie night.
