My hobbies are photography and travel. I have been to 58 countries and have taken about 20,000 photographs. I also enjoy cooking and I have a green thumb. I'm a philosophical Buddhist but not religious. My spiritual teachers include Eckhart Tolle, Werner Erhard and Buddha. I have an undergraduate degree in software and a law degree. Now, I just teach patent law and process online. I mostly just travel since my business is online. I know quite a bit about nutrition and health. I've been a vegetarian since 1984. I enjoy staying fit mainly by running. Some books that have touched me are Power of Now, Diet for a New America, Unlimited Power, Man's Search For Meaning, Richest Man in Babylon and Atlas Shrugged. I don't really care about politics anymore. 7 years outside the US has trained my ears to find US politics very distasteful. I've been reasonably successful in a monetary sense, but as I get older and travel more and more, I've become a minimalist. If your natural pattern for physical and emotional intimacy is daily, we can give each other that. Since I started traveling in 2007, all I have brought with me fits in one checked bag and one backpack. Although I own real estate rental units, I do not maintain an empty home, because I live mostly outside the USA. If you need an empty nest as you travel, please bring that to our party. My travel plans are always destination authentic. Meaning, I'm not really interested in staying in a hotel that feels like North America when I'm in Eastern Europe, Asia, or South America. Let me know if you would like to see my travel blog. Or you can find it yourself by searching the interweb on the words (wanderglobe, dan, patent). Happy trails.

My next travel destination. Should I stay with my present travel

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
"Love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. Find
someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way
back. Forget your head and listen to your heart. Cause, the truth
is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the
journey and not fall deeply in love-well, you haven't lived a life
