My self-summary
I like meeting smart and cool ladies who can call me out on my bullshit and make me laugh... and this seemed like a neat way to go about that. I'm a bit of a geek and a goofball at times but I assure you it's very charming and adorable
What I’m doing with my life
I work fulltime in software development but I do TONS of stuff on the side as creative outlets. In my sparetime I do standup, filmmaking, writing (scripted and articling) and try to work-in some travel and outdoorsmanship here and there. I was able to buy a suite downtown a few years ago... no idea how I managed to pull-off that little miracle but I must be doing something right :P
I’m really good at
Winning at least some kind of prize in a karaoke contest. Disecting movies and TV shows to find hidden meanings
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I like unofficial biographies, travel memoirs and legal thrillers. But who has time to read these days?

Movies: I'll watch pretty much anything by Joss Whedon, Kevin Smith, Edgar Wright, The Coen brothers, James Cameron, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, Woody Allen and Wes Anderson. Also, I'm a sucker for superhero movies.

ComediesL Community, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, old school episodes of The Simpsons, Daily Show, Conan, 30 Rock, Californiacation and The Office
Dramas: The Wire, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Orange is the new black, House of Cards, 24... but I much prefer comedies.

Music: I'm a rocker with a penchant for Canadian bands (Anyone who thinks Canadian rock begins and ends with Nickleback can go right to hell.) Sloan, The Trews, Joel Plaskett, Odds, Bend Sinister, The Dudes, Rush... maybe throw in some Teenage Fanclub, The 88s and classics like Boston, Journey, Sabbath, Maiden and Zepplin.
The six things I could never do without
1. Friends
2. Family
3. My playlist
4. Warm, sunny days
5. The written word
6. My (ahem) brilliant mind
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm going to dress as for Halloween or any sort of theme party.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably out with friends doing something hilarious
