My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm back, baby.

CAUTION: Lots of reading and a modicum of entertainment ahead.........

I just moved to the islands. I haven't had time to update my profile with more Hawaii-centric details but I have gotten to climb the Ka Au crater trail to the top. Awesome. Please feel free to look over my profile and comment with extreme prejudice. I will get back to you as quickly as I possibly can. Enjoy your time here.
For the benefit of all, I give you "The Chinese Menu of Profiles". In each section there will be a 'Column A' and a 'Column B' from which the interested reader can choose. Column B will have a more serious tone while Column A will be of the lighter variety.

Now for those of you thinking that this is a false dichotomy, like voting for President, it's untrue. In our two party system of government you essentially only have two choices. But in my Chinese Menu Profile, you will be able to choose between two choices ten times. This means there are 2 to the 10th power of possible outcomes. I think 1,024 choices is fairly impressive. So let's get started.
Column A

Someone called me Mr. Green Jeans today and qualified it by saying, 'I don't mean that in a bad way.'. I think that may be the greatest summary of self one could ever get from someone else.

If you don't know who Mr. Green Jeans was then listen while I tell you of a man. A tall man that wore green overalls. (Unfortunately I don't own overalls... and I'm only 5'9") He was a farmer. He helped a man named Kangaroo. His kind and helpful nature was his most endearing attribute.

Apparently I remind this person of said agrarian. That's the best thing I've been called this year so I'll take it.

Column B

I have lived in south Austin for the past 12 years and really love it. On a single day you can float the river, go to a football game and see the Austin Symphony perform. All things I like to do.

I grew up in Kentucky, lived in Alaska for a bit and finally went back to school and got my Chiropractic degree. I've been working in Austin ever since.

I'm pretty eclectic in what I like and like to do. Swimming, running, boating, hiking, camping. Eating high end food, trailer food, taqueria food. Seeing good movies, bad movies, plays, concerts (both classical and modern).

I play classical guitar for fun. One of my friends called me a Renaissance man. I took it as a compliment and have to agree.

Although this is not all of me, it is a good start. If you're interested, keep reading.
