I am bookish, talkative, and way cool.

My Self-Summary

A student of Physics and Electrical Engineering in Tel Aviv University. A positive bookworm that wants to find a deep connection with someone who's intelligent, open and sincere. And most likely quite geeky :-)

What else can I say? I'm not your stereotypical number cruncher. I take an interest at almost anything, and I can be moved very deeply (it really takes no more than a book such as "the little prince" to do so).

Oh, one of my vices: I regularly attend the Tel Aviv debate club meetings. That's a bunch of weirdos who meet every week and give speeches in turns about whether or not bull fighting should be made illegal, or whether the US should flee from Iraq. Here's what I have to say for myself on this count: It's fun and interesting to explore ideas. And it gets you free flight abroad to international championships. So there!

What I’m doing with my life

Learning, debating, reading quite a bit, listening to music on the daily train to the U and gradually becoming an audiophile. Working a bit for the Weizmann institute, meeting up with friends.

... And studying for all those damn tests.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books. I'll try to keep this short. 1984,On blindness, "his life ahead of him" (or something like that, I'm translating back from Hebrew), Slaughterhouse 5, All quiet on the Western Front, The book of Laughter and Forgetfulness, Primo Levi's books. But also typical sci-fi/fantasy books such as the Song of Ice and Fire series (which I'm growing fed up with), Asimov.

Movies: The wonderful Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento, and somehow I can't recall more names right now so I'll leave it at that.

Music: All the usual stuff (The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Smiths). I've even succumbed to Pink Floyd eventually. Also Belle & Sebastian, Elliot Smith, and Hebrew music such as FortiSahrof, Arkadi DUchin, Girafot.

I also enjoy classical Music on occasions and thinking lately that maybe I should give Jazz a try after all. Somehow everyone with good taste in music seems to like it, but right now it's kind of tedious to listen to it for any prolonged period of time.
