My self-summary
Kurt Vonnegut managed to capture my ideal relationship with four simple words: "a nation of two".

Rihanna also managed to capture this essence with her immortal words: "you da one", but it's somewhat less concise.

I'm a cynic in remission (we hold weekly meetings if you're interested - Cynics Anonymous. There's free coffee, and sometimes cake!) and hope to be completely cured and optimistic by 2014.

I'm deeply and passionately in love with all the dogs of the world - everything is always better when there's a dog around. If I could, I would adopt ten puppies. A day.

I have a soft spot for those who allow themselves to think beyond society's conventions and dogmas. I'm a liberal in every sense of the word. I like stories and adventures and I'm willing to try most things at least twice.

You should also know that I'm a geek and unashamed of it (geek is the new cool, right?). Intelligence really turns me on ("sapiosexual" is the word I'm looking for). I read a lot and everything interests me - science, psychology, technology, history, philosophy... anything goes. Also, I can probably quote from most TV shows in existence.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as an ex-hacker cyber-specialist (and a programmer, on occasion) at a really cool start-up company.

When I'm done inventing new computer-related stuff I intend to retire to some exotic location (probably Ramat-Gan) and write books. I'm trying to bridge the gap between thoughts and words.

I also used to be a restaurants critic for a while (writing & free food is a great combination!) and have a BSc in Biology (because why not actually?)
I’m really good at
Finding the humor in every situation, making cultural references, solving riddles, telling stories, listening, תשבצי הגיון, playing poker, kissing, giving foot massages, killing cockroaches, finding parking spots in Tel-Aviv, experimenting with soups and fixing broken computers.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like good food (it doesn't have to be fancy to be good!) and love to try and taste new things. In my opinion there's a direct link between how liberal a person's palate is and how liberal he is in regard to other aspects of life.

I love epic novels, books that make me think, science fiction, fantasy, Neil Gaiman, George R.R Martin, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Haruki Murakami, Kurt Vonnegut, books about science, psychology, history, math, philosophy and any cooking book about soups.

I'm addicted to Dexter, Community, Family Guy, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, South Park, Homeland, How I Met Your Mother and מצב האומה. I love horror movies, especially about Zombies, and can watch Fight Club an unlimited number of times.

I'm familiar with every meme of the web-culture.

My taste in music is kind of eclectic, but classical music is my secret passion. For me, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Camille Saint-Saëns are no less than divine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
It was me. I let the dogs out.

You should message me if
If you're a cool geek, if you're curious and like to think and wonder and contemplate, if you like furry animals (including men), if you can find the humor in every situation (including this one), if you can get me tickets to "The Book of Mormon", if you're interested in sharing soup recipes - then you should definitely message me :-)
