Moving to New York in May. Never thought this wilderness seeker
would live in the big city, but I get a chance to make the world
better, so here goes.
Lover of theory, wilderness, wine, and sustainability. INFP. I find
intelligence incredibly sexy - sapiosexual anyone?
I read a lot, and I backpack as often as I can find the time. Other
interests include but are not limited to: music, crossfit, cooking,
cycling, and playing guitar.
I am passionate about social justice and working toward ending
isms. My work and a lot of my thinking/discussing time is devoted
to this. I believe language is important, stories of lived
experience are valid data, and we are not in a
post-(racial/sexism/any other ism) society. I want to combat these
on personal, interpersonal, and systemic levels.
Health and well-being are important to me. I take time for myself
to recharge, get outside as much as I can, and try to eat
I find tremendous good in spending time with animals, and there is
never a day where music does not play a role in my life.
